agree completely that the overall amount of games in different competitions is hurting the overall product, including the amount of injuries effecting players especially at the top level (players playing in europe, their domestic leagues then going on international duty to play in important cups/qualifiers). its too much even considering the money paid to these games. the off season is much shorter compared to the nfl or nba. but its all about money at the end of day
Michael Oliver's decision on Lewis-Skelly was absolutely outrageous. This guy has a mass body of evidence that he has at the very best an unconscious bias against Arsenal and for Man City (who he does part time work for). Good on you guys calling it a poor decision and not going Sky's gaslighting route.
@@environm3ntalist549 I think they were more asking for praise rather than a criticism about a wasted 'chance'(it wasn't even a chance). It was a fantastic shot out of nowhere, showing he's feeling more like himself. His all around game was one of the best in a long while. On the ball, off the ball. He even defended well and made some key blocks and interceptions. Bernardo looks like he could be returning to form. Haaland's hold up play is improving, that assist for Foden's goal was even better than his goal for me. City aren't quite back, still need to bring a DM in to sort the midfield out but there's a lot of positive signs elsewhere in the team recently.
Pep explained in his post match interview, Stones not fit to start, Dias, Ake injured if they were Khusanov wouldn’t have started. Trust in Pep he’s won a couple of things before you know
the decision by VAR to not have Oliver look at the replay is criminal. if PGMOL really want to protect its referees they need to be given a chance to correct their mistakes in the moment.
United problems are lack of players with close control & carrying ability.. need a win back & an upgrade on Lw to help with a player with passing & vision rather than pure pace
Arsenal always need the perfect squad to win something. Liverpool didn’t get the no.6 they wanted in the summer but they didn’t make excuses they just put Gravenberch in their and he’s been the best midfielder in the PL this season. Why do always Arsenal get excuses around the striker position? No club has the perfect squad yet they don’t cry about it like Arsenal do.
You need a perfect team to win the EPL these days, meaning no passengers. All the past winners over 15 yrs have been “perfect teams” including Liverpool
What's the point of var if they won't actually review things? I'm a lliverpool fan and this is nuts. It's a glorified offsides decider and a fake layer of approving all ref nonsense
Everytime i listen to these guys is either liverpool is going to have a blip now liverpool is going to loose too. If it was city in this position they wouldnt be saying this
Early on it was said Grealush offers something different...sorry, imo...he offers nothing, 4 seasons in, he's a sub par sub...with the exception of going backwards, and getting fouled because he hangs onto the ball too long, he needs to be moved on..That was a 100 million quid mistake, and the new kids will impact like Doku has......Great discussions on the EPL etc...
This is the best football podcast to me. Well-defended, measured opinions and a chill vibe
Man i love the robbies. Just quite unbiased and advocating for whats best and good in the game
Not unbiased mate
Best show on NBC

Happy Birthday Robbie Earle!!
Love the overview!
Who else was waiting for this show
always, love the pod, its relaxing.
Totally. Sit back relax and let's talk football before we close up shop on the weekend and get ready for the new week 👍
Pgmol is a disgrace.
No 1 mention Foden missed goal - shot on target that hit the post
hitting the post isnt hitting the target

Robbie, on Benardo Silva you are spot on, he is the current engine he runs all over the field.
Come on man city 💙
Fantastic performance against Chelsea

Yeah 115 charges…we know
@@mrbubbles293 115 unproven charges
@@mrbubbles293can't wait for your 115 tears when they win the case again.
We didn’t have any other CBs to start I’m sure that’s why Khusanov started. He wasn’t bad after the first 10-15 min of the game.
agree on Hojlund, he has not been improve and his ball control is horrendous
Happy Birthday, Mr Earle. 🎉🎉
Fantastic balanced show….well done….no idiot commentator clowns….how refreshing….
Allison replaced karius not mignolet
PGMOL would rather not embarrassed each other, than bringing the game into disrespute.

He could have if he wanted.
@russellward4624 but why would he, when VAR is saying they agree?
United problems are lack of players with close control & carrying ability.. need a win back & an upgrade on Lw to help with a player with passing & vision rather than pure pace
The challenge looked really innocuous. Must have been for denying a goal scoring opportunity... even that I disagree with but has to be that
