    great video, thanks for sharing. I just have to do it on my 1978 transAm, but I still have drums. I don't think it makes any difference.
    Cheers from France

      Shouldn’t be any different on the drums just have to pop off the drum, shouldnt even need to pull the brakes apart

    Could you have installed longer studs and run a non-stud spacer instead? Just wondering. Thanks for the video by the way👍

      I could have but I’m running a 2” spacer so they would have had to be very long studs

    Do you have the WS6 special handling package with the 15x8” rims?

      Not gonna lie to you, I honestly don’t remember what this original car came with lol I’ve put this together with 3 parts cars the rear end is out of an 81 turbo trans am the front subframe came from a 79 and I ordered the rims off eBay lol

    Great video! I’ve got a ‘77 Trans Am and think I may need to change mine out too..how come you didn’t do the other side too? And do they need to be packed with grease?

    • @hodgepodgegarage3911
      @hodgepodgegarage3911 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Cuz the other side wasn’t leaking lol it definitely wouldn’t have hurt to do the other side but I’ll cross that bridge later lol as for the grease, I’ve heard plenty of people swear by it but I’ve also never done it and I haven’t had any noticeable issues, but I’m sure someone will say I’m wrong lol

      @@eliasmaximus4857 Yes they get lubed from the gear oil but you need to pre lube them before you drive. Never drive them dry in the beginning just like you would never not lube your cam and lifters before he first start.
