Nunew singing in english is amazing! He has such a phenomenal voice and his part is particularly difficult to sing.
These two are really great performers & I love watching them shine, whether it's in their dramas together or on the stage (looking forward to The Next Prince aahhhh!!!)
But the gay history behind this particular song is so so important too! Howard Ashman (the lyricist, who, along with Alan Menken, brought the music back to Disney animation in the 90's & kicked off the Disney renaissance) was unable to accept the Oscar he won for this song. He passed away from AIDS before Beauty & the Beast premiered in theatres. His partner had to accept the Oscar for "Beauty & the Beast" on his behalf.
Serious research & development of treatments had been delayed by the homophobia surrounding the illness' prevalence in gay communities. He, and thousands of others in the '80's & '90's, might have received life-saving treatment, if people hadn't been so overwhelmingly bigoted towards LGBTQ+ people at the time.
So, seeing two men dance & sing 'Beauty & the Beast' together, on a stage in front of thousands of screaming fans???
It's just so so meaningful & beautiful to see.

This act was certanly cleaned up a lot from the last Beauty concert. I liked the other one better except for the lift which was so 😮 scary for Neunew and us. You could have left that out and still have more dancing. But stil enjoyed this rendition. Hopefully i get to se the rest of the concert.
