Hi Sarah & Will. Yes, BusFest 2023 was, again a blast. Day time stalls, events and evening music were just fab!! At 20min 40s into your video, when Sarah said there was some sort of Crafter club, this was in fact a conversion company, showing their latest creations. Most importantly, when you stood in front of them, did you turn around and see a Black Swamper style T6.1?? 🤔. Well, that is ours. Anyhow, fab vlog again and your adventures are just around the corner...👍

I've a Cali Beach and love it. Unfortunately nearly all the Cali channels I watch, seem to be moving on to bigger vans.
I miss the Cali stuff🥲
PS I think the steels look great on 'Svens'. I cant imagine how you would be able to clean some of the black Swampers!

Sounds like a gap in the YT market for a Beach owner to start a Cali dedicated channel then! Yes I can imagine some of the alloys being a right pain.. Still not sure what to do!

This looks like a really fun place to be. Does any
one know if there will be something like this on the continent, e.g. Germany, sometime in the Fall of this year (2024)? We will be traveling there in our 90 Vanagon (T3/25) Westy from California, and we would love to come to an event like this and meet like-minded VW people.

Still loving the vids. Sadly parted company with our Cali yesterday but put a deposit on a Malibu 640 today so looking forward to your big van tips going forward. Bit of a wait til middle of next year and this time we will try and hold back with our purchases predelivery!! Keep up the great work.

Well done on getting the video out so quickly. Sorry we missed you, we were on the Cali Club pitch with Carl and he mentioned you’d be around on Saturday, but by the time we got back the van Carl said you’d just left. Catch you next time. Busfest was great, but having been at CamperJam in July we think that was a shade better. Definitely doing CamperJam next year.

The Multivan XL hybrid is the base vehicle for the new Calis, as per VWs own marketing. But the Multivan is not the T7. That will come after Ford's own launch - allegedly - as the next van is a joint enterprise between Ford & VW.
I love the Kanvaswork awning canopy. I saw it at Dubs at the Castle last year and it's a great looking bit of kit. The extra shade sail infills give nice flexibility. If I changed van and didn't have a Fiamma canopy I'd certainly be looking at the Kanvaswork 'Skovva'.
