As a Libra Ascendant, Sun in my 9th House have done wonders. Jupiter forms a conjunction with Venus and Mercury in the 8th House has also been very beneficial.
I have a Libra Ascendant with Sun in the 9th house too, but in D9. Glad to know this placement of Sun works well. But then I also have a Moon Ketu conjunction in Leo, so not sure how stuff is going to pan out.

It's true. I have Sun Mars 2nd from Jupiter. But, I am not arrogant, I have a lot of patience, I'm not hot headed like my brothers and some friends. I'm egoistic in the sense of being confident in life's hurdles that I can pass the trial that God gave me because I know I will become stronger. One of our neighborhood strays- a much loved and popular one, came under a car's wheels and got killed yesterday :( He was only about 3. He was the brightest little star and now he's gone! I have this placement of Jupiter but in terms of degrees it is pretty old. I grew up bringing in tortured stray puppies home, and all my pocket money as a kid would go in feeding stray dogs, so when id walk back home from school id have a battalion walking behind me like they were my bodyguard. Nonetheless, I influenced my mother and eventually we together saved 52 strays and father provided for them etc. I cannot stand animal abuse! It infuriates me. Now, hopefully you wont feel lonely :) we were probably of the same batch.

But even if you take jupiter as native, it doesn't change sign for years so does that mean everyone born under same sign and house will have similar destiny.. no that's why ascendant is important.

In Sanskrit gravity is called "Gurutvakarshan". Kind of indicating Importance of Jupiter in the force of gravitational power.

One of our neighborhood strays- a much loved and popular one, came under a car's wheels and got killed yesterday :( He was only about 3. He was the brightest little star and now he's gone! The loss is irreplaceable :( I am finding it hard to cope.
The shit seems to have kicked in for animals with this placement of Jupiter. I really hope animals everywhere are safe and free from all harm.

I have this placement of Jupiter but in terms of degrees it is pretty old. I grew up bringing in tortured stray puppies home, and all my pocket money as a kid would go in feeding stray dogs, so when id walk back home from school id have a battalion walking behind me like they were my bodyguard. Nonetheless, I influenced my mother and eventually we together saved 52 strays and father provided for them etc. I cannot stand animal abuse! It infuriates me. Now, hopefully you wont feel lonely :) we were probably of the same batch.
For any soul, you can light a moksha deepam with sesame oil outside Shiva temple during day time...the soul will be guided by God..

this is my take on what is the "soul" ----
the word SOUL derives from SOL which is Latin for SUN.
With that said , There is no spiritual designing in nature or in man without the power of the SUN which is the SOUL(SOL)
I do have Sun in 12th from Jupiter and really don't crave for the titles, positions and fame any longer. I live a very modest life with enough to eat but don't consider myself to be inferior in any manners.

But even if you take jupiter as native, it doesn't change sign for years so does that mean everyone born under same sign and house will have similar destiny.. no that's why ascendant is important.

even in progressed charts this jupiter is gonna cross over the natal sun in like 400 years while if sun was before jupiter it would need like 30 years to cross over jupiter
am I missing something here? sounds like these 2 cases were swapped.

It's true for me, Sun 2nd a house from Jupiter. What really hit me is transit of Jupiter and Sun in 10th and 11th house respectively. I have this position in the natal chart, and as time progresses my desires are becoming reality, especially in the past 6 months. It is even scary a bit 😳😳😳
