- Back in 2015, we headed to Maryland to visit with Dan Magness, who sadly has passed away since then. But Dan's family carries the tradition on and Dan had a great collection of unusual machines including Porsche farm tractors. The Field Marshall, built in England, was one of his treasured tractors and Dan enjoyed explaining the unusual method of firing it up! He also loved the Marmon truck he had collected too. Enjoy this story of a collector who left a family legacy of loving history and vintage iron!

Wow, the 1948 Field Marshall is a wonderful tractor, such a great old relic. Mr. Dan Magness sure has some nice ones in his collection, the Field Marshall is the icing on the cake! Thanks
What a unique collection! Very cool!
That's a great tractor! Sorry to hear of Dan's passing.
Thanks for sharing
Great video. Thanks. All ways got a kick out of the shot gun start. 👍🏻👍🏻👋
Rip Dan Magness. He seems like a cool guy.
My Dad's Uncle had a Field Marshall. It was always a big draw at our local Tractor Show when he would start it up using the blank shotgun shell!
Very cool collection! 👍
Cool video 👍 thanks 😊
IMHO this is one of the best episodes you folks gave ever done. Excellent tractors. Love the truck. But most of all, the owner being interviewed. Seems like he has a great care for history preservation and seems very comfortable and has good presence in front of the camera.
those tractors 😊😊 was pre glow plug they used a paper wick other tractors made in the 🇺🇸 😊 in the late 194OS had a plug 🔌 just the 1S used in electric kerosene heaters 😊😊 OMG 7 15 2O24
Thanks for another great video Brian.
It was interesting and enjoyable to watch.
Unusual way to start that tractor. Neat. His collection of Porsche tractors 🚜 is unusual. Don’t see many of those. My compliments to him on his collection.
Thanks Brian.
The Iowa farm boy. Steve.
I’d like to see a video on the Borg and Bek Twin City Tractor that you showed for a second
We’ve got a 1985 57P VIP Marmon in Oklahoma :) V grill and bumper. Definitely rare
That Marmon is a beautiful truck 👍
I'm really surprised for how long you guys have been doing videos that you don't have better video quality...
Why doesn't this channel ever post full episodes?
