I've used it in a new app I'm working on, and it is so much better than other real time data bases I've used before.
In what way particularly?
@@fredzhang562 The things I personally like about Firestore (over Firebase real-time database) are: better up-time, more freedom when writing queries, and strong consistency.
@@MartinOmander i still don't find any major difference between realtime and firestore when to use
@@rajatrao5632 You're right, Firestore is an evolution of Firebase Realtime database. The two work similarly, so it's easy to switch. My advice is to use Firestore for any new projects. You can read more about the differences here: firebase.google.com/docs/database/rtdb-vs-firestore
it's really a good video, the best thing is at the beginning it really clarifies the potential of firestore with good diagrams to emulate the same in my applications
