You are right but the problem here is not the road but the unlawful overtaking. This incident will still happen on a dualized road. It's our driving attitudes that need to change.
@@abee6503 Mrs Bee, I am talking from my experience as a driver in USA🇺🇸 , when there are multiple lanes heading one direction , the drive could just change the lane and move past the other vehicle without thinking about colliding with incoming vehicles. Ghana should build at least 3 lanes on each side to drastically reduce accidents. There is no such thing like illegal overtaking, overtaking is legal but it has to be done in a right time with right amount of acceleration and visibility. People will keep perishing on our highways with this nature of a single roads in Ghana. Hoping the government will hear the cries of Ghanaians.
When traveling such long distances in Ghana you're at the mercy of the driver and the Creator. Killing innocent people all at the hands of driver negligence. Somebody should be held accountable for all these deaths. The institution that hires and pays these drivers, or the individual if owner-operated.

Just look at the shoulders of the road; there is no way that one can maneuver without a crash. It is 21st century, Ghana!!
