The girls barely complained! First gator hunt of 2023!

This was our first hunt of the year. We had a full boat with the wives who were on their first gator hunt ever. The morning started off really well, we had the bait in front of a big one within 20 minuets. He grabbed the bait in another 20 minuets. We were forced to make a move and after following him for a while he spit the bait. The wind picked up and the gators disappeared. We found a few but none that wanted to play ball. Eventually we found a decent one which ended up taking the bait. After a nice fight my wife, Shellby, was able to harvest her first gator. What a hunt!

Sorry man, I should have been more specific, what lake? I have tags for Poinsett and enjoy watching videos like these to learn more as I am new to gator hunting.

@@jw2625 For everyplace I hunt I don't like to give out the exact location out of respect for the people who know and hunt and fish fish those places. Poinsett is a great permit location, it gives you a large area to hunt.
