I remember Blacktown back in the late 60's into the 70's. My dad sold chook raffle tickets at the Robin Hood pub on Fridays...the pub was demolished for expansion of the shopping centre. It was the toughest pub in Blacktown..brawls would break out onto Main Street. Up the road and down the hill was the Comb and Cutter pub...I saw many aussie pub bands there cold chisel, the angels, midnight oil, mental as anything and ACDC amongst many others on a small stage for only $5. I have family history in Seven Hills and Blacktown going back to the early 1900's. Have a few ancestors buried at St. Bartholomew's Church...the haunted church on the hill. Blacktown has lost alot of its character and embraced the multi culture that keeps it alive.

Yes I moved to New Zealand from Australia but I go back every so often mite move back to Australia sometime I'm in NZ building my channel it's a good place.
Apparently it's got some old colonial ish with the name back in the day a lot of Indigenous people aboriginals use to live there and was called blacks town now it's call Blacktown don't forget Australia has pretty racist past in colonial times especially towards the native Indigenous population.
Shopping in blacktown mall they got everything but Shopping in nz Auckland it dead u go to sterling sport thinking yes going to get me a nrl gears or nfl gears and sports gears but all of sudden they selling nike, Adidas, underamor, Russell, champion and all kind of branded clothes like wat is nz sport shop doing especially Stirling sports they need to get back to selling sport gears
That's it bro I find shopping in Sydney has more variety and options not just in sports stores but clothing shops cheers for the comment bro bless up🙏🏽😊
