I am excited about something God has shown me recently. I am not saying you're wrong I am saying that Worship should come from US to GOD the Holy Spirit can lead us in many ways but I think that God desires our personal worship. Imagine you have a son that only praises you when your wife falls him to and how to. It's good but imagine if your son came up with it all himself FOR YOU. but the holy Spirit should direct us during the worship at times as HE sees fit.
The problem with the comment is that it assumes you can't practice all the things described in the video and have the Holy Spirit lead. If you practice AND the Holy Spirit leads that will be MOST awesome. Appropriate prep is good for both preachers and singers and in both cases the Holy Spirit makes it great!
Also, the more I worship, the more I have found that if I make sure I am doing it for God, He makes sure I hit the notes and sound beautiful. I really try to rely on Him.
I love #2 because i have struggled with that. I have become more comfortable with my voice but it took me a minute. I am more confident now in my range, abilities, and my vocal style. Still a work in progress.
To add to the "Practice makes permanent" thing, make sure you're practicing good technique because if you practice with bad technique, you can end up ingraining bad technique into muscle memory which can lead to injury over time.
Tip #3 Practice Makes Permanent - record your voice. I would go as far to say, click on the "solo" button after recording yourself over the backing track. Talk about nakedness. ;-)
Thanks churchfront community for your videos. They are very helpful. I am implemting them with my church group and the results are appreciable.I am a keyboardist at my church. One the sunday service of our church is conducted in a school classroom having a gathering of 100 to 150 people . Most of the time I am the only intrumentalist for the service and sometimes a acoustic guitar is there, as the place is small so we cannot have live drums or more instruments. We have yamaha PSR i425 keyboard which supports some drum and regional rhythms. Can you please suggest any gear which can be added or can share some tips to improve the worship, keyboard and the overall music experience for the service conducted in a classroom. Love from India.
My church just recently made a call for worship leaders, and I have always loved to sing, and tip No. 2 has made me very aware of how I could be better at a potential audition. I've never given this kind of minestry much thought until now, and I really appreciate what you're telling me here. The biggest ting is about worshiping our LORD.
thank you for these tips ! im going to join my church's worship team and I'm a bit scared but I'm doing it to overcome my anxiety. I hope I don't embarrass myself when I sing graves into gardens lol
As soon as you said Lauren Daigle, I started laughing. My voice sounds so similar to Lauren Daigles, so I always felt like her songs were made for me, but then I've learned that my voice has a growl to it that I try to utilize. I'm leaning to enjoy my own sound.

Holy spirit is the great trainer and if he leads the worship that will be more awesome.

How do y’all not drink energy drinks or coffee! Church is early, I have to have my bang energy
The best take out is number 4 when he said (paraphrased) that we focus on the Lord that we worship rather than trying to sing the song the right way
Great tips
one thing a notice in many churches, the gospel is more about singing than praising JESUS

Tip 4 might be the most important thing. While its good to have practical tips, what separates us from worldly aspiring musicians is our focus.
Im just here because our teacher told us to sing worship songs and i donr have a clue how to sing
How to become a worship pop soinger ? ? ?
