So any engine being called a Galloping Sausage is an automatic insult. The fact that Awdry himself came up with that truly shows the hidden attention to detail he put in his stories.

Rev Awdry has said you're not just writing for kids but, for the parents who have to read these stories over and over again. He made the show and the books for everyone, not just children.
It's these insults and roasts that made me glad I grew up with these series. They remind me that no matter how kind and nice I am, I won't get along with everyone I meet, made me have tougher skin and helped me learn to have a laugh when I am getting teased with family, friends and coworkers.

Damn, this series (the model series ) gives me nostalgia vibes. Since i had servre Autism, this series was so relaxing and gentle to watch when i was a little girl but these insults are probably the best in any show ever!
