See, it’s impossible for me to feel bad about Zelda’s spamming neutral B when Fox got a pass on his shine. It’s a move with frames of invincibility on a character with some shitty frame data. Not using it is braindead and unoptimizing your character. Spamming ANY move is annoying and bad. It’s learning WHEN to spam the move that makes it smart

Sullivan Lee compared to every game she has been in, this is a massive buff. Zelda has always been at the bottom of the tier list in every smash game. She’s definitely mid tier in Ultimate.

Make a lightning kick compilation already. It's a very satisfying move to see land, I like it more than knee smashes from Falcon. Telefrags from Farore's Wind aren't bad either.
Zelda is so much fun and has awesome flashy plays like this, but sadly she's still around low to mid tier. Not really viable to solo main in this game.
@Wutert idk what you mean by beat the game, tier lists are based off of competitive smash, not beating the game. And tier lists, while they aren't everything, are a good indicator of who is viable to main. Mystearica and Ven are the best Zelda players and neither really do that well outside of locals. Another example is Elegant and Luigi. Elegant is very obviously a great player, but Luigi gets hard countered by many characters such as shulk. Characters with weaknesses like that are not good to solo main.

The best buff that Zelda got in this game was her visual redesign. I always liked her kit in the other games, but I was put off by her whole Corpse Bride Twilight Princess design.
Teleport cancels. Mewtwo and palutena can do it as well. If a char with teleport teleports to a ledge whether it be on a stage or a platform with good spacing, thwy will glide off and will cancel the landing lag of the teleport allowing them to act immediately or chain into another teleport. I cant explain entirely as im still learnint cancels myself with palutena but its basically takes knowing the angles and distance

yeah i've gotten to the point where i only use neutral b for projectiles. she's my fav character to play by far but that move is so cheap 😂
