What/How Do We See? - Gallery 2

The 2024 winter exhibit at Art 3 Gallery is titled “What/How Do We See?” In this exhibit, the viewer is asked to consider not only the subject matter (“What do we see?”) but also the process behind it (“How do we see?”). As the title suggests the exhibit will explore both the “what” is depicted in the art and the “how” the art is viewed and interpreted. It encourages viewers to think about what they are seeing (for example: is the piece abstract or realistic? Is it intimate or scenic?) and how they can engage with the artwork in terms of medium, context, and technique.
