    ----Invocations/time stamps
    imgur.com/a/r4gMWB9
    I usually run these invocations for chill runs without insanity. With a higher dps setup(for sub 35-40 minute runs) I usually add a time invocation along with taking overly draining off. This run isn't too different from my 400-450 invo run examples except this one uses gear with less dps. It kinda showcases Keris/Dehydration runs rather than having extra path invocations(other than walk the path) or insanity since you can get up to 70 points with them enabled.
    This allows p4 wardens to be a lot more relaxed and pretty easy without insanity enabled(Hardest part of raid imo). You can also sub walk the path for insanity for faster runs overall which i sometimes do with shadow setup.
    0:00 Prepot
    0:32 Path of Apmeken
    4:06 Ba-Ba
    8:47 Kephri
    17:44 Akkha
    26:53 Zebak
    31:24 P1 Wardens
    33:20 P2 Wardens
    38:02 P3 Wardens
    43:28 P4 Wardens(Kinda relaxed should've brought Bowfa instead of DCB)
    P4 wardens was about 1:40 long. overall there’s a lot of time to kill the boss before last tile which kinda shows cases the final boss without insanity enabled

    Look at all those sanfews! Only the shadow/tbow owners could afford that 😂😂❤😊

    • @momoflipMwvids
      @momoflipMwvids  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It’s worth bringing imo sanfews aren’t expensive when comparing it to toa rewards/purples. These 400s are basically 9m gp per run and 1/11 purple chance so any supply cost is made back pretty quick over a long period of time

    I just looted a yellow gem and am trying to push from 300s towards 400s. I like the look of your invos because I really hate insanity. I can do it but not consistently. Anyways, I have bowfa/trident/fang+bandos setup currently and have about 100m extra cash but nothing else to upgrade (until the big items zcb/tbow/shadow). Is masori+dragon crossbow+bp better than bowfa? Also I really enjoyed this video, gave me an idea on just how to use my specs and what to do, was having a hard time finding some decent information on how to properly use the yellow keris.

    Hi, loving your vids lately dude, thanks for the efforts!
    Suggestion for another one and something I’d love to see a deep dive into is voidwaker in toa. I haven’t gotten my hands on one yet but main application would be replacing both claws and the p2 warden weapon (rapier/dds), so saving an inv slot. And the other two key applications are akkha final orb phase and kephri arcane scarab. For akkha orb phase voidwaker specs should get the job done a lot faster than anything else so it’s great for those who struggle with that phase. Akkha final phase prayers suggest the spec shouldn’t work, but I’ve seen vids on yt that it does. For kephri voidwaker specs will force the arcane scarab to fly in one or two hits with near certainty, making it easy to free up a lot of ticks to blowpipe swarms and reduce regeneration.
    Also for specifically 400 invo which I run most, according to my back of the envelope calcs using voidwaker allows for 3 down p2 warden, so no need for an additional rapier or dds slot. By adjusting the number of specs you use it even gives a lot more flexibility than rapier to still make 3 down if you miss a hit and/or some switches, and it’s still much less spec use than a dds (easier to use alongside keris).
    Other places its spec can work (replacing claws) but is kinda optional and should be weighed against other possibilities like keris, bgs and zcb, are imo: kephri main boss and baba, maybe p1 warden (but zcb, and also save enough spec for p2), maybe zebak and p3/p4 warden (but zcb), maybe non-final phase akkha (but prefer to butterfly when possible and use spec for keris and orb phase)
    Hope this is a useable vid idea. Lmk if you wanna brainstorm or test run anything together at any point.

    • @qq6652
      @qq6652 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Oh and one thing I missed: baboons at baba, both during boss fight (but usually better to spec boss itself and ignore baboons) and the apmeken pre room (one hit the shamans with specs)

    • @momoflipMwvids
      @momoflipMwvids  ปีที่แล้ว

      Voidwaker would be a really interesting weapon to test I’ve usually brought it specifically for the arcane scarab to be able to blowpipe the swarms faster. It’s a lot more consistent than claws since it takes forever to kill if specs don’t land or fang doesn’t hit. I wanna try to compare to claws to see dps/accuracy differences
      I’ve also tested on the core for p2 wardens and it did 255 damage compared to 270 using rapier(attack style was on slash haven’t tested on stab so it could possibly do more?). This was with torva/firecape/bloodfury. Not sure if it was a 3-4 down but I’ll try to retest
      I haven’t tested anywhere else kephri/ba-ba(including pre puzzle room)/last phase akkha sound like really good places it could work at though. thank you for the suggestions/info!
      Also if you wanna do some runs/tests together you can add me. I usually spend most of my time in game running duo or group toa

    • @qq6652
      @qq6652 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah it’s a couple max hits lower than rapier for p2. Depending on invo level which decides breakpoints for 3 down, that may or may not be a breakpoint. But the spec makes up for that easily, eg a setup with blood fury, fire cape and lightbearer but otherwise max str you’ll normally (with flawless execution) need 24 hits of which 1 spec to get the 3 down on 400 invo. But let’s say you mess up on the first down and get 5 hits instead of 6 (so 23 total instead of 24), you add two extra specs and it’s all fixed. Usually if you just miss a gear or piety switch while still getting 24 total hits, you need just spec additional spec to fix it. Similarly if you go higher invo you just add specs, I think it works out to about one extra spec per 20-25 ish invo.
      Note that above numbers are based on pure voidwaker without bgs whack accounted for.

      Voidwaker spec doesnt work on Akkha's enrage phase. I tested it out myself

    • @qq6652
      @qq6652 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ok so now I actually got my hands on one I have some corrections to make. As pointed out by Sachin, the spec doesn’t work on Akkha final phase after all. Similarly, the spec doesn’t work (or rather, hits low) on p2 core, so all of what I wrote about that is out the window. Still plenty of use for it around toa, but some of the key uses I thought existed, don’t. Though for p2 you can still use it in place of a rapier if the slightly lower max hit doesn’t push you below a breakpoint

    • @momoflipMwvids
      @momoflipMwvids  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      It shouldn’t be the dps differences aren’t too much compared to armadyl and someone with a bowfa setup could probably do this invo run a lot easier if you don’t have masori.
      Some dps calculations for armadyl vs masori on wardens
      (All 400 invo calculations)
      --p2 wardens
      Bowfa(full crystal armor)(7.73 dps) vs Dragon crossbow(Armadyl)(6.69 dps)
      imgur.com/a/Idnq1L
      Dragon crossbow(full masori)(7.09 dps)
      imgur.com/a/eAZ8kKY
      I didn’t include an Archer ring and zaryte vambraces for dragon crossbow since I was using barrows gloves and lightbearer but this should show the dps differences aren’t too much.
      For p4 wardens I did use ruby dragon bolts (decreases dps a lot when boss is lower than a certain amount of hp)more than bowfa(ruby bolt procs are included in the calculations) so even with a bowfa setup it would’ve been way easier.
      I’m on mobile right now so kinda hard to write out a clearer response but I copy pasted this part of my comment from my Akkha Dps analysis video…
      (These calculations below should be 300 invocation)
      -------
      It looks like on regular akkha with armadyl instead of masori the blow pipe gets 8.63 dps compared to full masori having 9.57 dps.
      imgur.com/a/PC8jhbj
      This is about a little over a 10% dps increase
      On akkha's shadow for dps checks full armadyl gets 11.27 dps while masori gets 12.15 dps.
      imgur.com/a/XsVwflF
      this is a little less than 10% dps difference.
      On 300 invocation for akkha's shadow(all calculations with salts for stat boosts)
      Masori/Blowpipe(12.15 dps)
      Armadyl/Blowpipe(11.27 dps)
      Osmumten's Fang(bis melee)(9.95 dps)
      Bow of Faerdhinen(Full crystal armor)(9.74 dps)
      Calced these for akkhas shadow
      Armadyl/Blowpipe(11.27 dps) Crystal armor/Blowpipe(11.25 dps)
      imgur.com/a/wdH1qA7
      Crystal is basically equivalent to armadyl on the Shadow so it's still more dps than fang/bowfa
      Overall masori vs armadyl is about a 10% difference. Blowpipe with crystal armor(2nd bis weapon on akkha) is really close to armadyl

      you can bring a 4 way mage switch using occult ancestral top/bottom and tormented bracelet or similar with other mage pieces. bringing full switches doesn't increase dps that much unless butterflying akkha for the whole room. without shadow though i would suggest bringing a 4 way mage switch then going to melee/range and not butterflying. The room is a lot quicker. other than that mostly range/melee are used so dont need much mage gear

      It's pretty good at Kephri, Ba-Ba and Zebak but not as much of a dps increase compared to Tbow on Zebak and Fang on Kephri and Ba-Ba all with 20 bgs damage defense reduction.
      I might have missed some things like spec accuracy(bgs barely hits on Kephri but sceptre could be more accurate), salted/unsalted, and some other calculations like sceptre speccing the bosses for 15 defense reduction(reduces defense and magic by 15) and it could be a better option overall on some bosses.(sceptre speccing(15 defense reduction) Ba-Ba then switching to fang instead of bgs(20 defense reduction)
      I'll calculate some of the comparisons and watch some of the videos with sceptre as they probably have some useful info. Don't have time to put some calculations together right now but i'll have some comparisons soon and re reply to this comment.

    • @momoflipMwvids
      @momoflipMwvids  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I calculated the BGS/Sceptre differences I personally won't be using it in ToA. Accuracy is a bit low on Zebak and Ba-Ba and when it does land a spec dps doesn't seem to be increased as much as bgs.
      It also only increases dps on wardens by less than .1 so not much use throughout the raid also
      All calculations are with 300 invocation
      -Zebak
      BGS(71.96% accuracy 75 max hit)
      Sceptre(49.16% accuracy)
      -Ba-Ba
      BGS(68% accuracy 75 max hit)
      Sceptre(37.73% accuracy)
      -Kephri
      BGS(48.71% accuracy 75 max hit)
      Sceptre(49.16% accuracy)
      While having a good amount less accuracy at Zebak and Ba-Ba it also doesn't increase dps as much.
      All calculations salted for 300 invocation
      -Zebak
      Tbow(BIS range salted no specs)(10.01 dps)
      Shadow(BIS mage salted no specs)(9.76 dps)
      Tbow(BIS range salted 20 bgs damage)(10.90 dps)
      Shadow(BIS mage salted accursed sceptre spec(reduces magic by 15)(10.25 dps)

    • @momoflipMwvids
      @momoflipMwvids  ปีที่แล้ว

      It’s all preference for how you want to run ToA. Some people are really good at wardens on insanity so having wtp enabled is worse since runs are longer.
      You could run a 500 invocation ToA(am trying to do this personally) without insanity but the pre boss rooms would be very difficult to complete while wardens would be easier.
      There’s also the limited heals since dehydration/no help needed are ran. This only allows for very few mistakes especially on p4 wardens but the trade off is no insanity(can sub for no Wtp and with insanity for fast runs)and 70 extra points.
      Most of the 300 invo ToA ran on mass worlds are usually ran without insanity. I wanted to showcase how similar these 400s are to lower invocation except that healing is more limited.
      I know some people that dislike these types of runs and could find them harder. There’s also friends I commonly do these runs with and they’re our favorite setup for ToA. It’s all just dependent on how you like to run the raid

    • @momoflipMwvids
      @momoflipMwvids  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I don’t think Jagex intended it to be this way as the red x methods were patched a bit after ToA was released but Jagex unpatched these methods since a big part of the community didn’t agree with the patch.
      At 400 invo baba is quite doable especially without path invocations. At higher invocations like 450-500 with a path invocation like pathseeker baba can hit 30-50 damage through prayer and it’s nearly impossible to kill the boss consistently.The chip damage is too high especially with the potential for the boss to do 100+ damage in less than 10 seconds no matter how good at the boss you are. This means most high invo kills depend on rng on whether the boss is doable or whether many supplies are used
      I did hear from some people that ToA wasn’t meant to be a solo raid which would make sense since I’ve always found baba easier in groups without red x.
      I do personally wish Jagex changed the boss mechanics to reduce unavoidable damage in solos to where kills aren’t as dependent on rng. Akkha for example isn’t that bad without butterfly as long as you use the correct prayer to reduce damage

    • @zilyness
      @zilyness ปีที่แล้ว

      @@momoflipMwvids yes, I would love to see a balance in boss mechanics that allows players a high difficulty gap without the need of such methods like red X or this one used at baba.
