Yes ma’am you absolutely right! Because I had to take my baskets to a whole nother City 50 miles from my home to sale my baskets this year!! And I’ll be going back to that city for Easter, I’m not fooling with this nonsupporting people in my hometown!! Giving up ain’t in Me!!

Monday I woke up with a different attitude, I made up in my mind I was going to go back out if anything left over it will roll over to Mother's day. I spent the day Monday buying more stuff to make more baskets because I felt I didn't have enough to go back out with after talking to those at my church who ordered. Tuesday and Wednesday I went out there praying Lord send me some customers and I sold most of my basket except for 3.The profit was looking kinda slim maybe because I bought everything full price or what I'm not sure, but I plan to approach Mother's day with a different strategy on spending vs profits.

This was my first time doing full on baskets and I didn’t sell out but I made a profit in comparison to my spending including my no sales but I made more money selling just valentine baskets 1time than I made in 3 years worth of pop ups. So I will keep pushing onward, I’m not full time but I’m willing to push all the spare time I have to grow this business.never quit!!!
You certainly know your stuff, and even though you don't get on much you have many followers, and that speaks volumes, because when you come, you come with it, and many continue to subscribe, sometimes not being on all the time gives people something to wait for. After we finsh all that work of selling we have to settle down, and take some time for ourselves, and assess our sales. I personally decided not to share anymore on how my sales went, because this can cause many especially first timers to feel like they also have to share, and if things didn't go well for some it could make them feel they're not keeping up with everyone else causing them to feel a certain kind of way, and.or give up like we see some here in the comments, and that you're encouraging to stick with it. Sometimes just encouraging one another, and having fun in what we're doing is all that's needed, because sales can lead to competetion. I appreciate all you do in this community. Keep doing what you're doing!! 😊😊
I watched a video earlier that purdy much said "we" basket makers cannot compete with Walmart's cheap baskets ya da ya da ya da! So glad I came back here to watch this video again - its uplifting! As a Newbie to the business, "inventory" basket making videos are boring & a waste of time. It's refreshing to know that you start anew with every occasion like a Newbie since many of us do not have "inventory" or luck in catching sales/deals. Your interest in asking how we're doing shows that you are very caring as well as listens to the "wants" of customers. Love your tips, positive attitude & non-preachy style! Keep it up! 🎉❤
Hey I’m a new subbie and I have been following you, LBE, and Boss lady Fe since January and you all have motivated and inspired me to start selling baskets. I have always loved crafts and my love language is gift giving so it just fits so well!!!! Y’all also gave me great ideas and tips to think outside the box which designing my baskets so with Easter instead of doing all baskets in making Easter display now I just have to get my pricing together because all you teach about not low balling yourself and I’m trying to make sure I do t do that. Basket making is a skill and everyone is on different skill levels depending on their background experience. You have to put in the work to improve your skill levels. It should be something that you really love doing because it requires a lot of time and patience to design, stage and produce quality work. Presentation is everything!. Now if you are a Newbie thinking about selling baskets before you go buy one item. You really need to do your homework and figure out a strategy for where you live and your target audience. What someone else is able to do in terms of hustling their baskets may work for them, but not apply to you depending on where you live. Only you can answer those questions. You have to do the work conduct your market analysis and create a strategy. For example; What type of baskets are you selling? Who are you trying to sell your baskets to? What age group? Are your baskets for all demographics? What are the income medians for your area? Do you need permits in your area to sell on the street? Google vending events in your city that you can go to. Think of all the ways that you can sell your baskets. You have to have a hustle mentality to sell baskets. It is a business and it is up to you to do your homework. Don't forget to use your social media platforms. There are so many ways to market your business. I did it for many years and was very successful because I created a strategy for my area and my work did the rest. Please stop comparing your success by what someone else is doing it doesn't work that way.

If you look at my last year videos, I had shelves, but they don’t work for me. Organization ain’t my way I guess.😂 and I didn’t buy stuff I don’t need I buy in bulk so everything I got. I got hundreds of like my house shoes I got 150 house shoes the teddy bears I got 200 teddy bears so I buy in bulk that way I get the best price and that way the next holiday I don’t have to buy anything

I’m marketing by giving some free basket/gifts around town to my medical team and placing gift sets outside the holiday on a separate table under my tents to show what all occasions I do to increase interest and sales for other than holidays. Getting my name out there!!!❤

I’m insulating my shed and installing heat and air as well as wiring for full electrical. I have a refrigerator for it and am getting counters put in. That’s what I plan to do for my business it’s in the works now.

I made about 50 baskets went out about a week before or so and didn’t sale one basket (didn’t get discouraged) then we waited until it got closer to Valentine’s and then sells were better. My husband came home from work and said the guys all want baskets and he sold quite a few it was amazing 👏🏽👏🏽 not sure how much I’m making for Easter and Mother’s Day just going to make and see what the outcome will be, but glad your sells was great too ❤ it girl much love 💕
I started doing baskets thus year I only made 18 wanted to do 20 as it was my first time just testing the waters lol and I went by a Park out by me by the Front Road and there was a bus stop so it was really convenient the first day I didn't sold anything 2nd day Nutting I went from the weekend before valentines, but by monday I made 2 sales and Nutting else but when I went out for valentines day I sold 12 baskets, I think I wudda sell all had I went out after valentines because how the Day was but I saw profit( wanted all to sell) but I will be out for mothers day hoping to get over 50 baskets but thanks to ur videos I got gud compliments about my baskets so I think I don't need to put alot in my baskets so thank u so much and keep going, when I finish my baskets I also sell clothes so I order clothes in between but I need to find someone to send me some dollar Tree stuff cause I cud do so much better

Im going keep pushing I get discouraged sometimes its hard for me to work in junk I dislike looking for items.Ive been making baskets off and on for over 30 years so this Dec 2023 I left my job to focus on my baskets business it time to work for myself.I made millions for others companies.I was GM at many companies.I did make 50 baskets for Valentine.I only had 7 left 5 was men so Im going work on 100 or more for Easter.Im trying use all my old stock piles.I know in August I will be making Valentine without candy and going do 300 or more Im a great shoppers.I was GM at Dollar Tree and Dollar General so I have plenty of items.Thanks for inspiration I needed to hear it
hey yt! missed you so much! no you did not sell out! That a Girl! way to go Boo. So happy for you. I made about 20 box baskets and sold out all but 3 which were high end but a lady did buy one of my high end for her mom. i was like ok. 20 may not sound like a lot but for me it is because i have to start out small. I also sold out every window bag too so i made about $900.00 and invested $140-$160.00 which was great for me. I had a great spot close to walmart where trafic all day, so i've decided to do easter but majority are gonna be just window bags. and i'm thinking about revamping the few high ends i had left, one i have not had to open it up. 😊
First off congratulations! I also sold 90% of my baskets! I also invested back into my business for the next holidays. Those window bags flew of my tables !!

Congratulations on your Valentine’s Day sales. I didn’t do well at all. I was sick and I had to work and it wasn’t a good day at work that day. I did good last Valentine’s but not this one. But I’m not upset I’m just glad I’m feeling well. I was sick for three weeks so I’m glad I’m feeling way better.

Hey sis. I glad to see you back. I have been super busy even while recovering from knee replacement surgery. I sell baskets through the year by orders. I have never done street sales because I am so busy with orders from treats, event decorating and balloon installs with different sororities , schools, churches etc. I also rent wooden letters which is great for my business. Hey cousin how are you.? I think you should put 2ozygen absorbs in the bottom of baskets and don’t. Shrink wrap until last min prep just tie them off just in case you get condensation. Also can you do a video on your shrink wrap technique (I know you don’t like the noise but I love your detail videos) I’m already going back watching last year Easter ideas

Glad to see you back favorite cousin. You definitely was miss, I was like were is favorite cousin you know we love your videos and you too. My Valentine sales went great sold all but one. I made about 50 baskets went out about a week before or so and didn’t sale one basket (didn’t get discouraged) then we waited until it got closer to Valentine’s and then sells were better. My husband came home from work and said the guys all want baskets and he sold quite a few it was amazing 👏🏽👏🏽 not sure how much I’m making for Easter and Mother’s Day just going to make and see what the outcome will be, but glad your sells was great too ❤ it girl much love 💕

I started doing baskets thus year I only made 18 wanted to do 20 as it was my first time just testing the waters lol and I went by a Park out by me by the Front Road and there was a bus stop so it was really convenient the first day I didn't sold anything 2nd day Nutting I went from the weekend before valentines, but by monday I made 2 sales and Nutting else but when I went out for valentines day I sold 12 baskets, I think I wudda sell all had I went out after valentines because how the Day was but I saw profit( wanted all to sell) but I will be out for mothers day hoping to get over 50 baskets but thanks to ur videos I got gud compliments about my baskets so I think I don't need to put alot in my baskets so thank u so much and keep going, when I finish my baskets I also sell clothes so I order clothes in between but I need to find someone to send me some dollar Tree stuff cause I cud do so much better

Im going keep pushing I get discouraged sometimes its hard for me to work in junk I dislike looking for items.Ive been making baskets off and on for over 30 years so this Dec 2023 I left my job to focus on my baskets business it time to work for myself.I made millions for others companies.I was GM at many companies.I did make 50 baskets for Valentine.I only had 7 left 5 was men so Im going work on 100 or more for Easter.Im trying use all my old stock piles.I know in August I will be making Valentine without candy and going do 300 or more Im a great shoppers.I was GM at Dollar Tree and Dollar General so I have plenty of items.Thanks for inspiration I needed to hear it

hey yt! missed you so much! no you did not sell out! That a Girl! way to go Boo. So happy for you. I made about 20 box baskets and sold out all but 3 which were high end but a lady did buy one of my high end for her mom. i was like ok. 20 may not sound like a lot but for me it is because i have to start out small. I also sold out every window bag too so i made about $900.00 and invested $140-$160.00 which was great for me. I had a great spot close to walmart where trafic all day, so i've decided to do easter but majority are gonna be just window bags. and i'm thinking about revamping the few high ends i had left, one i have not had to open it up. 😊
First off congratulations! I also sold 90% of my baskets! I also invested back into my business for the next holidays. Those window bags flew of my tables !!

Congratulations on your Valentine’s Day sales. I didn’t do well at all. I was sick and I had to work and it wasn’t a good day at work that day. I did good last Valentine’s but not this one. But I’m not upset I’m just glad I’m feeling well. I was sick for three weeks so I’m glad I’m feeling way better.

Really dudt know if i would sell them all i did have 4 mens left i sold more womens. Just didnt want to have to worry with bring back but i know next time and start earlier. Hey sis. I glad to see you back. I have been super busy even while recovering from knee replacement surgery. I sell baskets through the year by orders. I have never done street sales because I am so busy with orders from treats, event decorating and balloon installs with different sororities , schools, churches etc. I also rent wooden letters which is great for my business. I do very well during all holidays.which I am grateful, I have weddings as far out as Sept. I am praying that everyone sales are successful. Blessings from N. C. Carolyn

Hey cousin how are you.? I think you should put 2ozygen absorbs in the bottom of baskets and don’t. Shrink wrap until last min prep just tie them off just in case you get condensation.
Also can you do a video on your shrink wrap technique (I know you don’t like the noise but I love your detail videos) I’m already going back watching last year Easter ideas

I didnt sell anything for Valentine's...life happened for the 2nd year in a row. I went out on Valentine's Day and stopped after work. One lady stopped by and I thanked her. Another guy yelled," Hey how much ya BASKETS? So they do kniw about them
