I was curious again, so I typed in the TH-cam search " eagles hotel california solo cover" I have to say I'm impressed!
If that doesn't show that people love them and are diehard fans, I don't know what does!

Thanks for doing this but I have one criticism. Please use a limiter, you are thrashing this thing so much it distorts on peaks rather a lot. If you find your level meters slamming into the 'end stop' then you are more than likely over-driving it. A limiter, correctly used, can cure this problem. If you can't find a limiter with Acoustica Mixcraft then turn the levels down manually.

@Apak Lu I started with using Audacity free app until I ran across Mixcraft. I still have a copy of mixcraft 4,5,6 and 7.
I tried the version 8, but haven't purchased it yet.
I do like the video editing that comes with it. It's okay for starting out. I still use Nero for the most part. Nero has a wave editor along with video editting. I been using both for years. Anyway thank you for your time and comment .

Which software has been used??
Himprabal Kaushik Hi, I used a wav editing software to begin with to size down the backing track and then into acoustics mixcraft for practice of the solo. Screen capture for making the video.

Y'know people like me, whos tech knowledge on editing isnt well endowed...are always salvaging youtube for such tracks.. to play along With. if u could put up similar backing tracts of some other popular songs... ur channel is sure to get many more hits..its just a suggestion( and a req at the same time of course)

Hey bro, does this mixcraft eliminate the solos for you or do you buy them & can you slow down the track? I'm a music teacher & I have alot of students on this solo & that would make for a great tool to be able to slow it down. Write back please & thanx! Bryan
Sorry to say Mixcraft doesn't remove solos, vocals or slow the track down. I use it to add or make backing tracks to play or record to.
This software at link below slows it down if it's the same as it used to be a few years back and it's free to download and use: www.mixxx.org/
VLC player will also slow down tracks played.:www.videolan.org/vlc/download-windows.html

Actually I need it to remove everything BUT the solo's or other rythems & parts of the songs that I'm trying to get down & they are either being drowned out by other instruments or singers! Howbout that?

Sounds like you're looking for audio editing software where you can manipulate vocals and what not. I only worked with a few. Audacity is one which is a free open source download. I also have used one vocal remover that wasn't free. They both pretty much did the same when it came to vocal removing. It does take away the quality of the music anytime you edit though. I might be able to, but the computer I used to create the track crashed on me a little over a year ago. I'll see if I can find and pull the files off the hard drives. It may take a while. The drives are 2 tb's each and were pretty full of files.

If you did a cover of the solo using the track it was most likely the music company that had copyright issues. I have no control over that. It's up to TH-cam and them weather to unblock or not. You would have to file an appeal. Hope that helps.

The copyright issue is not from me, but the music companys. You can go through an appeal through TH-cam on that issue if it comes up. Mainly a problem in the US. 🎼🎵🎶🎸🤘
Somehow, when I'm playing the third lick, my high e string always broke.
I had that problem with a lot of different brand strings. I now use SIT s1046 light. I've had them last almost a year with daily playing.
On my les paul and semi hollowbody guitars I also changed to roller bridges. It helps to clean the strings after each use too, to prolong the life of the strings. Keep Rockin'

That can't be done. All the "isolated tracks" you find on youtube are taken from Rock Band and similar games where the game makers were given copies of the isolated tracks from the original master tape and they can be extracted from the game data. You cannot cleanly isolate anything from just the mixed version of a song.

Aw man I had no clue this got taken down for such a long time! I used this all the time when I was learning the solo... and then I uploaded a cover of it... then I got 2.5K views... then Don Henley and UMPG copyright claimed it...
Yeah, I was pretty bummed. I figured stuff that was for educational purposes would be fine. At first it was blocked only in a few countries and then all. The re-post of it for the gain issue some were having stayed except for a few countries, but the comments were disabled. Most all of the videos using the backing track have been blocked. It really sucks, I so enjoy viewing them and seeing how well everyone was doing at the solo. I didn't monetize it as it was for learning the solo and having fun learning and playing. Anyway I'm glad it's available to view and use for now.

Does this sound good with aacoustic guitar?
It can sound good with an acoustic guitar. You have to get the bends to the right pitch or slide to the right notes. Lighter guage strings would help for acoustic guitars. Also using a cutaway acoustic helps to reach the higher notes.

great software, but you should realise that the master and track volume are too loud, as you can hear with good earphones... the audio us popping, also if you notice the volume gauge, red indicates that the noise level is too high... this is true for both the track volume as well as master volume, separately...

+google user I had the volumes up on both due to the screen capture software used for the video was recording it at a very low volume for some reason. The guitar software is Acoustiac Mixcraft 6.0 they have a trail of the software on their website.

Hey, I wanted to use this backing track for one of my guitar solo cover videos for Instagram reels, but it keeps getting copyright notice? Am I not allowed to publish with this anymore or is it something related to Hotel California itself? Thank you :(
Most of the copyright issues I believe are from the music companies. I have the same issues with the backing track video. It's blocked in several countries including my own. I don't use Instagram so I can't say for sure.
There are several solo covers on TH-cam and at times some get blocked also. I'm glad you can at least use the backing track to solo too. Keep Rockin 🎸🎶💕

Hey Lako. Try going to www.youtube-mp3.org/ and copying this (right click and 'Copy Link Address'): Eagles Hotel California Solo Backing Track into the box with the example URL. For me the webpage is in French but click "Télécharger" and the download should start. It'll download as an MP3. :)

Bryan Hackett There are many websites which can do this, my personal favourite is FLVTO.com , you just copy the URL:th-cam.com/video/agMAbXAY40Q/w-d-xo.html
and just paste it into the box, enter and then in about 10 seconds you will be able to download it. From there you can put it into your itunes folder under music (Music>Itunes>Itunes Media>Music>And then put it into any folder.)
