I’m the US, and malls are a thing of the past here. They used to look this full maybe 25 years ago. Nice to see that people use them in other places.
I can't speak for where you live, but in North Texas malls are still thriving. A few crappy ones died out, but the ones that adapted are still here.
Social and the encounter are very important in a society.
I wouldn't say they are completely a thing of the past. There are just less of them than what there used to be. There are some US malls that do well.

As a Canadian, a lot of these stores look unfamiliar to me.
And despite as an introvert the crowd would cause anxiety within me, the mall itself actually looks nice :) I’d walk around if not so crowded :)

Malls are a great place to take the family. Hope they always thrive.
If your disabled or suffer with panic attacks or anxiety don’t visit this shopping mall. I heard it was big, but this is ridiculously huge, with different music blaring everywhere, went early December probably so busy as people were doing their Xmas shopping. We couldn’t find our way out as there’s several car parks in every direction and on every level, I found it overwhelming never again.
Going to the mall reminds me of high school where you see everybody in one place.

The state I live in here in the US, has 5 Westfield Malls. But 90% of the stores in this mall are all American. Even the food court/ eatery has American restaurants.

Shopping malls like this are standard stuff in Lithuania but in England they are few and far between.
Theres others too. Westfield Stratford, MetroCentre, Manchester has few, Bullring Birmingham, Gateshead. Etc UK has many big malls that many of them will make Europes top5.

NOT UK'S LARGEST MALL. You got it wrong. There are 2 Westfield's in London, the largest is in Stratford, East London. This is the smaller one in West London. Also the Bluewater Shopping Centre in Kent-UK has more retail space than either Westfields in London.
You are wrong. This is the largest mall by square footage (m2). Stratford is not the largest and is in fact the 4th largest mall overall. Facts!!!

This mall is great for Europe but in Asia, this is just another ordinary mall. I have been to many mall in China which would blow this one away in size, design and beauty.
