I love the one with wings. Ive been wanting a boy figure. I think Id prefer if his hair was black, blue or grey instead of that purple. He would match my other figures better. But he's beautiful! He may be the one I buy.
I saw your tiktok of you unboxing Benten! I’m so happy for you because I also just picked him up preowned from an ebay seller in Japan and he’s in perfect condition 🤤
I’m not sure if you mentioned this male figure set in one of your videos, but I’m really excited about Native’s 1/6 scale Aoba & Koujaku. Also Alter is releasing a Fate/Grand Order - Arjuna 1/8 scale Berserker figure. It looks so good. Idk if I’m going to order the 1/8 scale Arjuna though. I really don’t like buying any figures under 1/7 scale.
You have sexualized female figures, so I'm curious if you're bisexual. I hate how often heterosexual women like the appearance of sexualized depictions of women in merchandise and media, and not showing as much interest in seeing men and depictions thereof in anything and as many styles as what's common for women that are as revealing in the same areas on mens bodies as what men commonly like to see on women, and that more people of both genders show more interest in the female than male body. The reason is because that leaves more people attracted to women being in a sexual mood much more often, so leaves that desire in men less satisfied more often.
I am straight and I disagree with you; I've actually spoken on my collection and my opinions on this topic on my tiktok if you'd like to view the video it is here www.tiktok.com/@lyblob/video/7271685263284276523?is_from_webapp=1&sender_device=pc&web_id=7091672751253653038
I understand where you're coming from, but if you haven't really noticed, there's not that many good quality male sexualized figures that aren't just downright pronographic. Women, straight and not, as well as cis and not, can easily and should be allowed to collect sexualized figures without having to justify their sexuality to someone on the internet. It could be a piece of power for them to see figures like this. And, that being said, sexualization of an inanimate object, depiction regardless, is solely held in the eye of those losing. Personally, I don't find some of these figures sexualized and more so empowering for women. If, and whenever, companies want to make nonpronographic figures of sexualized men, I for one will be pretty happy. I've advocated for more men bunny figures, more men figures that don't just stand there with their thang out. Sexualization of an inanimate object is completely up to you, and doing so to a figure I'd a bit weird imo.
@lyblob I think you and I define sexualized differently. I don't think the example you showed close up in that video is sexualized either, but you have female figures wearing things that are emphasizing the breasts and butts, like the ones in bunny outfits, that are meant to incite sexual feelings in those sexually attracted to women. That's sexualizing. I don't deny you're straight, but I don't know how so many heterosexual women like seeing that or think making depictions of women like that, or sexualizing themselves and other women represents their sexuality, or is empowering, since they're sexually attracted only to males and have significantly less depictions of men for them to enjoy seeing that way. How do so many women think that's fair to support an uneven amount of service for female sexual desire compared to what men get? Men don't wear as revealing things nearly as often and think any other sexualization of our gender expresses our sexuality because we prefer to see the gender we're attracted to displayed in such ways.
@morichu269 I know there's much fewer sexualized male figures, but I don't know why so many heterosexual women would want to see depictions of their gender with areas of their bodies they'd much rather see as emphasized on men, or think it empowering to support the unevenness of depictions of one gender made for sexual excitement. I didn't imply she had to justify her sexuality tome or that all her female figures were sexualized, I was just curious. I've seen people say that if there were a significant amount of women who also wanted to see more sexualized men, there'd be as much of that in real life and works of visual media as there's been of women. Also, read my response to Lyblob.
@@ericbreaux6124I think you are missing the point that for a lot of women their sexuality doesn’t evolve around men (even when they are heterosexual). Women are perfectly comfortable enjoying sexualized figures from a purely aesthetic perspective. I have lots of cast-off figures that I bought just because they look nice and nothing more. Even if the figure is highly sexualized and made for the purpose of the arousal doesn’t mean everyone who buys the figure bought it with those intentions. And while I wish there were more make figure out there, most figure companies are ran by heterosexual men for a heterosexual cis male audience. So anyone who would be interested in sexualized male figures would have very limited options because they aren’t the target audience of figure manufactures. Hell women aren’t even the target audience in anime in general despite how many of us make up the customer base.
