I know this isn't why they are in business, but this is an ecologically sound way of drinking sparkling water. Locally sourced & bottled, low transportation, recycled bottles, no plastic.

True. I am so sick of plastic. Now even underwear, shirts, etc... are made of plastic or something similar bc it's cheaper for the corporations and increases their profit margin. Meanwhile all those plastics bleach into rivers, oceans and our water supply.

This broke my heart. As a kid, I remember going to my grandfather's deli in Central Islip and helping him sweep up in the summers. And 3 times a week, he would get his seltzer water for the neighborhood kids to have fizzies. I miss that man so much, he was an amazing grandfather, and the people who brought the seltzer always were too. Thanks for bringing back memories of the good times.

I grew up drinking seltzer. I remember the Egg Cream and Pizza.
I would most DEFINITELY love to start a Seltzer delivery Company in Puerto Rico.
I use to live in Williamsburg Brooklyn and Princes Bay on Staten Island. Seltzer with a Bagel and Lox with Cream Cheese and red Onions and Coleslaw and the famous Knishes with Mustard washed down with a nice cold glass of Seltzer (too young for drinking beer) was the bomb. I am extremely happy that they have their Seltzer business still up and running. I will most DEFINITELY look them up for some Seltzer when I visit New York. My Junior High school was on Graham Avenue and Ten Eyck Walk. My Butcher was on Graham Avenue and Withers Street.
These guys bring back such fond childhood memories.

I remember back about 1965 the seltzer man would hand me the family’s delivery through the apartment window at the VanDerveer apartments in Brooklyn. I usually asked the man for blue bottles. Great times!!!

Being german, wondering what Seltzer is, realizing its “Selter” and knowing it’s more popular in Germany then tap water but the American bottles are WAY nicer then ours and becoming a little jealous. Just a little.

just make sure the seltzer is very fizzy and it will probably be close, but it's the ny tap water that gives it it's signature taste. (first hand egg cream drinker)

'For two cents, plain!'...I still remember my Dad bringing a case back from work in Manhattan every week. Bosco, milk and seltzer, you had a 'Chocolate Egg Cream', just like the soda fountains made. I'm sure my folks used it for more 'Adult' drinks, but the siphon bottle was a wonder to us kids...

Actually it does have a practical use. I love seltzer water, the bite is exactly why I love it. Like they said though, if you don't drink plastic bottled seltzer quick enough (which you shouldn't be able to) the bite is significantly diminished and the water tastes like water from the bottom of a garbage bag.
