1) Chicken should have two steps marination . Hung curd is must for tikka marination .
2) Rather than frying you can grill the chicken in a grill pan . It will give the perfect tikka .
3) Rather than frying onion tomatoes etc you can just boil them in a pan with little water and add cashews , bay leaf , butter , Cinnamon , cloves, whole garlic and ginger . After 20 minutes just blend it and strain . Gravy texture will be better .
4) before cooking the gravy further just saute chopped ginger and one green chilli in butter and then add gravy and lastly chicken tikka ..
