My dad is the scariest person alive. He was so scary when he shouted and because of that, no one DARED to talk back at him, and so that's how my sister and I are better behaved. Although, he would only get angry for a short amount of time, it felt like hours and it made me feel so scared.

So I wanted to upgrade to an iPhone 7 because my 6 was terrible. It had bad battery life, it was always crashing and it was annoying the hell out of me. I told my parents numerous times to go and upgrade my phone and they never did. This was going on for a year. Then both of my parents wanted to upgrade their phones on Black Friday, and of course I asked to come with them so I could upgrade my phone. They finally said yes. So we went to Best Buy and upgraded everyones phone. I wanted an iPhone 7. Bless my parents, because instead of a 7, they got me the XR. Thanks parents

I have anger issues. I tried to get my siblings to shut up, and ended up getting so mad that I threw a calculator at his mouth. I regert that to this day. That is the reason I stay out of things. I haven't been mad in a year. But as a parent, this will happen again one day.

I'm Asian and there is no chance for me to slap, kick or pushing my mom when I was a kid. Once, I slammed the door really hard because I got really mad and my dad slapped me right on the face. I also got punished whenever I got red score in exams, either got hit by a small broom or using my dad's belt. Now I'm raising my kid in western country. She's in terrible two and get tantrums almost every day. Whenever she wants something and didn't get it, she will throw herself on the ground and screaming, I'll just leave her there and people will stare like I'm a bad mom. My mom did the same to me and I'll do the same to my kids. Maybe I will use less smacking or hitting because apparently here they called it child abuse 🙄.
