- Join us as we visit Sea World Orlando for a day of fun and thrills on the first day of 2017! We ride our first roller coasters of the year, including Mako, Kraken and Manta along with experiencing our favourite other attractions at the park! We also check out the Christmas theming across the park along with taking a closer look at the major refurbishment happening over at Journey To Atlantis!

Excellent job. You are very good at doing this. We actually sat through the entire thing. LOL we are most impressed with the lack of fear from you and your friend as you ride those roller coasters. We would have to be strapped down much more and on drugs. LOL Very, very nice. Thank you very much for doing this.

So my thoughts on the coasters?
Shamu Express is just a kiddie Coaster!
Journey To Atlantis is such a good water ride, but it's also a coaster which blows my mind, the theming of that ride is super good!
Manta is fantastic, very intense, it makes me grey out/black out, the back row is insane!
Kraken is one of my all time favorites, pretty intense, it may be a little rough, but the layout makes me love it so much!
Mako is my number two Coaster, the airtime is insane, the ride is insane, the whole thing is insane, I flipping love Mako!!!!!!!!

Gosh! I just want to go there! Least I have flamingo land and lightwater valley! Both awesome parks but I don't see anything like mako and it's rare that's go to a park like Alton towers where they have big rides. I went on the smiler and loved it but it's far away
They do journey to Atlantis maintenance from December until march. Since FL parks don't close, they just do maintenance periodically (Busch gardens at least does that)
I'm a massive fan of you but I would love the channel more if you showed what harness/restraint the ride has because you always give so much info but I would be so interested to see that.

Dippin Dots used to be a lot cheaper. Several years ago, at the Georgia National Fair, we got them for about $3.50-4.00 for a medium. $6 was a large. I guess its more expensive at SeaWorld because its a tourist area and food does tend to be higher at theme parks.

Shawn, do you keep track of all the credits you've done? I've heard you say 600+ but I think it would be cool to see a list of all the ones you've done. If you don't have a list offhand, I suggest using MS Excel. I've also heard that Coaster-count.com is good too.

April is usually rather quiet!
I really want to go to Seaworld but my family don't like with the way they treat animals. Still gonna be going to the other parks in Florida this July though! Can't wait

Manta is my fav flyer, mako is my fav hyper, but kraken is my 2nd favorite floorless (I consider sit downs as the same category...so I prefer Kumba at BGT lol

That first loop on Manta is unnatural, the way you enter it and end up facing up, feels very extreme to me compared to other coasters. I love this coaster.
Hey guys! very fun vlog as usual but is it just me or are the camera setting a little off? the colors seems to be flat and grey maybe have a look at your camera settings and choose some setting that will make the colors pop more. keep up the awesome content!
The videos were shot at a frame rate that clashes with the render frame rate. Looks like the video was shot at 24fps and rendered at 25fps. Gives that slightly blurry look with movement etc!

I hate VR. It is going to ruin some of the best rides in the world over the next 3-4 years. If its optional then it's okay but don't add VR to a good coaster. It is going to ruin it

Joseph Bugg Agreed but the good news is Kraken will be optional and as far as I know their going to do a completely different system than what Six Flags has done to speed up the lines so that's good. Thank God it's optional!
Joseph Bugg i don't always agree but with air at alton towers i do. that was my favourite ride and now it just makes me dizzy and feel weird, and it also kinda makes it boring.
I always wondered what happens if you just refuse to wear the glasses. I should try it out.

I think Journey to Atlantis might be demolished for Wave Breaker (New for 2017 Coaster in the San Antonio SeaWorld) in 2018.

Vl yea journey to Atlantis is one of the only kiddie rides with that being said they can't remove it

eddie williams What needs to be explained? The liberals are corrupting everyone's minds with lies and propoganda. Their whole argument against Seaworld is built off of a film that the National Film Association says should be a science fiction not a documentary. They have also came out to say that the film is 95% false. The former trainers in Blackfish are only talking bad about Seaworld because they got fired for not following procedure.

Blackfish is full of lies. The "stars" of Blackfish were complete idiots. The former trainers shown, were all fired, they didn't leave their jobs for a heroric reason to save the whales, they were fired for reckless behaviour. One of the former trainers from blackfish was fired for KICKING an Otter. Another was fired for a failure in saftey procedures with the gates at shamu stadium which was very dangerous and fatal. Do some research before you say this stuff. Watching blackfish means you dont know everything, it just makes it seems like you know less

I went in December.
They don't do fast tract as far as I could tell. Best bit of advice I would give you is only but a standard ticket as if you buy the one with a free lunch it isn't clear where you can claim this!!!!
Luksprs Symbollica doesn't open Til 1st July so if you're going in May and expecting it to be open you're going to be disappointed...
Demand Thrill oh. I'm not for Symbolica. I already love what's there
Even on off peak days, expect a big queue on The Flying Dutchman (if there isn't, you are very, very lucky) throughout the day, but don't be put off by it, the queueline is very well themed and part of the experience. Also make sure you have a map because if you don't know the park very well it's easy to miss out on entire park sections since it's so big and rather unorganized. Have fun!
I don't think they should add VR to kraken personally especially if the theme will change

how do you transfer from park to park?
Angelo Facipieri it's called a plane. But be careful coz you might get travel sickness. Before I get roasted, I'm joking
In Orlando it's extremely easy to get from park to park. For example, if you're staying at a Walt Disney World resort there are lots of shuttles to all the themeparks in the area, incl. Universal. They're all very close together.
