Check out our top-of-the-range music department! It was fully refurbished in 2022 after several long years of planning, fundraising, and over six months of construction.
Some of the highlights are a completely new roof under which we have three pianos, our harpsichord is out on display, seven fully functioning practice rooms (each with its own piano or keyboard as well as soundproofing), and a classroom filled with 15 iMac computers and all the latest music technology.
None of this could have happened without the incredibly generous support of the Terwick Trust and the Mousetrap Foundation, who have been critical in enabling us to undertake such an ambitious project.
These facilities allow our students to learn firsthand how the music industry today functions, from classical performance to high-tech music production. It’s a joy to welcome students to such a high-quality, purpose-built centre for music on campus.
