Excellent narration, Ogoyi should further do a memoir if he hasn't already done it, there is a lot that the generation that fought for independent went through, alot of missing gaps most of us milleanials don't have much history from our parents about their parents and their parents parent.

What a great orator with a moving story that is full of heritage. I was enthralled all through. All the best as you try to bring closure to your family Patrick.

Thanks for sharing your story, Patrick. We need to hear more World War stories, visit our local World War sites, and honour the memories and sacrifices of our people. I hope you find Ogoyi soon and get much needed closure.

The result is 6 years flashback, in the Eastern rear corner of Form 2 Green at Mbita High School. I am seeing myself falling in love with 'The River and The Source', just as I did.
Wonderful wonderful oratory skills, and storytelling abilities. Aaah nyakwar Ogunde you're definitely not a historian; you're The Historian!!

Excellent narration. Coincidentally, I am having a presentation on the effects of World War 2 tomorrow. This perspective would help a lot.

My Great grandfather also went and never came back. Wish we all could know where they died and were buried.

Patrick Abungu describes a crime against humanity. Those chest-thumping "conscriptors" should be brought to account.
