No special tool to use on the split rims in the old days. just split and bolt up. No big money for exotic tools. just simple nuts and bolts. Why would this make it cheaper to use to go in this direction when Karting is so expensive and drawing more ( beginner people to the sport) is a no go. You can't bring more family's into this with adding more money to the budget minded poor guy trying to get a start. It's just another fail and money grab. like all things in Karting, Money talks as the years progress. Glad I'm out. I was the president of OVKA in 93 and we fought this money grab as changing rules were introduced to favor APPCO and other Karting outlets to make money. THAT WENT DOWN under my leadership in this great organization. But as the years pass, that small guy has been left behind as $ is what it's all about. Regards Tom
