I started praying the 7-sorrows rosary of Our Lady after I met Immaculee Ilibagiza from Rwanda on a conference in San Francisco in 2013 when she lead us pray this rosary. She said Our Lady requested this during her apparition in Kibeho Rwanda to the the young children. Since then, I’ve been praying it daily. I’ve received many graces from this devotion in including my love for daily Eucharistic devotion. After I retired from my job two years ago, I now spend 3 to 4 hours daily in front of Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament.
My sister, a few years before dying, was very persistent about all of us praying this devotion; one Hail Mary while meditating on one of the sorrows. She was in a coma for almost a whole month and I made sure to pray them for her in addition to mine. I don’t know if Mary accepted my prayers on her behalf but deep down inside me I have a feeling she did. We’re still praying this devotion and promulgating it to others.

Almost 33 years ago my daughter married...she had 6 bridesmaids (big family) I made the dresses and sewed inside a 7 sorrows medal. The 1st big one (prophecy of Simeon) I put inside her wedding dress. As a teen she said she'd never marry and never have kids! She was nicknamed 'the bear', her siblings never wanted to wake her up...today she and her husband have 11 children living and 9 in heaven awaiting and praying for us! I do pray the rosary and the divine mercy chaplet daily. I also started to pray the seven sorrows for over a year now. Praying and meditating on her sorrows makes me think that Mary carried a cross too. I started praying the Seven Sorrows Rosary about 5 months ago on Tuesday and Friday I find myself some days just getting lost in those moments with Mary. It has brought me closer to her and lead me embrace my feminity, to want to love and care for my family and those around me in a different capacity than before, more of a yearning to do so. ❤️
Gabi I have an OLS grace that just happened tonight as a direct result of this consecration. So an old friend took his life last week, Jan 31. Very tragic. Sober 14 years and very handsome young man, just 34,and successful and beloved, apparently had a psychotic break and went away for treatment but couldn’t get well, and he made the final act. At one time he was engaged to my friend and first sponsor, and they remained close . Last night, we had a zoom call with all the old gang, everyone from AA 10 years ago, love like you wouldn’t believe. His parents were on the call. It was very touching. Very hard. Your video last night was about suffering and tragedy. I said, Oh Mary?? And then you shared that an exorcist told him we can privately venerate relics of people we knew to be very holy. Literally as you said that I was cleaning a statue of the BVM from my great aunt, a very holy nun from the Congregation of the Holy Cross. We’re talking, cause for sainthood Holy. I have her Bible and she has a signed papal indulgence from John XXIII. Literally a ticket to Heaven. So I picked up her rosary and prayed with it 4 rosaries today I sent the video to my friend to console her because, wow what a grace right? Mary is talking about exactly what we’re going through I told my friend I wanted to offer Mass for our friend, and when was his birthday (thinking of who would be his patron Saint), and she said September 15. I googled it to make sure but I already knew. Our Lady of Sorrows feast day. What’s more, the highlighted search result at the top of the page, I didn’t even have to click on a link and look for it, was that the Congregation of the Holy Cross has as their patron….Our Lady of Sorrows. I had prayed the OLS meditations this evening at Adoration. I had asked my great aunt for her intercession, and said for what I don’t know, just help please and bam. And then you posted tonight’s video. I hadn’t been on YT all day so I hadn’t seen that this video was upcoming.

I visit a women in an assisted living home every Tuesday and we pray the Seven Sorrows of Mary Chaplet. I also give them as gifts to women who have lost their sons through death.

This was truly beautiful. I have a devotion to Our Lady of Sorrows which was passed down from my grandmother. It wasn’t until approximately 4 years ago did this devotion become fruitful in my thoughts and prayer life. Through this devotion Our Lady continues to examine my conscience with a fine tooth comb, bring to mind sins unconfessed. It struck me last week that she gently awakens this consciousness so as not to overwhelm her child and allow fear/despair to encompass whilst approaching the confessional. Our lady of sorrows devotion is a devotion that I became drawn to last year. I started doing the 7 sorrows rosary daily. I watched a video you made on this also (one of the ways I felt it called out to me) and then I done the novena after watching your video, also Fr Ripperger also mentions its power and importance for the exorcists. A friend made me a very beautiful 7 sorrows rosary. I love this devotion and also do it every morning. I never knew there was a Rosary for Our Lady of Sorrows. At our city's cathedral there is a side chapel devoted to La Virgen Dolorosa, Our Lady of Sorrows in Spanish. Whenever I am there, I always stop, get on my knees and talk to her. The beautiful statue of her speaks to me in a way I can't explain. Thank you for presenting this devotion to us. I have been consecrating myself to Mary and following this series of videos. I am praying the rosary daily but yesterday I tried praying the 7 sorrows apart from my daily rosary and truly meditating tbe rosary from her 7 sorrows pierced my heart like no other and made me feel the anguish and reality of Jesus' Passion. I am now commiting myself to pray the 7 sorrows every Tuesday and Friday but is aiming to pray it everyday. Thank you for your wonderful videos and reflections. They are truly enlightening.
I learn the 7 sorrow from you Gabi, and to Love the rosary. It was difficult for me to pray the rosary when i was started converting, then I ask the Lord please help me to meditate right Lord. Then i saw your video about the power of rosary. I get through though pregnancy (I was bedridden), leaving with tough family member, and to learn to set boundaries it’s all learned through praying the rosary. I pray it at night am Nd I weep thru the whole rosary but afterwards I feel like I am refreshed if it makes sense…..no one could suffer more than momma Mary. I love love her. The gift shop at Shrine and Church I attent sells the rosary w sorrows.I picked it up a few yrs ago and would try topray it on Tuesdays and Fridays not very consistent, lately I have been trying to be more intentional and consistant . Man, I've been on a roller coaster since starting this consecration, from day 1, wife problems, major issues, but major resolutions too, and since I've been doing the Rosary my anxiety has gone, but during this consecration it's come back, but and my devotion to the Rosary has been slipping, when I do the Rosary I feel the anxiety melting away, it been crazy, I know Gabi said do not change anything during time of desolation but man, I'm between a rock and a hard place in so many points in mtmy life, im hoping once this consecration is complete the desolation will ease

I have always been attracted to the seven sorrows rosary and the pictures of Mary with the seven swords. It is a special devotion, and it is good that we get to say some of them within the rosary as well. As you have said it is a great for mental prayer and really goes deep into the heart and soul of spiritual matters. Mary has supernatural strength that comes through her tears. In fact, the name Mary or Miriam comes from a plant that only grows in the Middle East and only when the plant is in distress does it release the sweetest smell.

I remember one day, at the begining of my conversion, I was praying and I was meditating on the sorrows of Our Mother (I was doing a great mental prayer without knowing what I was doing), and I stoped on the sorrow when Jesus's Heart was pierced, and with fear I asked our Lady to tell me which is the sorrow here because Jesus was dead when He was pierced? I don't understand... And then I heared a voice in my heart saying to me that "this lance pierced My Immaculate Heart... I was alive... Jesus was dead but I felt the pain..." I was amazed of this answer, and after a while I heard somewhere about this mistical truth and I was shocked to see that it was real what I understood, it was not my imagination, because I had no ideea about this truth until then.... Our lady of sorrows devotion is a devotion that I became drawn to last year. I started doing the 7 sorrows rosary daily. I watched a video you made on this also (one of the ways I felt it called out to me) and then I done the novena after watching your video, also Fr Ripperger also mentions its power and importance for the exorcists. A friend made me a very beautiful 7 sorrows rosary. I love this devotion and also do it every morning. I actually just finished mine before I watched this video 🙏 Thank you once again Gabi for sharing your wonderful insights 🙏

Yes I would pray the entire rosary and felt like praying more especially deliverance prayers. When I added the seven sorrows rosary, I felt it was the devotion I was Missing in my daily rosaries.

I never knew there was a Rosary for Our Lady of Sorrows. At our city's cathedral there is a side chapel devoted to La Virgen Dolorosa, Our Lady of Sorrows in Spanish. Whenever I am there, I always stop, get on my knees and talk to her. The beautiful statue of her speaks to me in a way I can't explain. Thank you for presenting this devotion to us. Now I know why I am so drawn to this image.

My mom and I have loved learning more about the seven sorrows devotion. I have 3 sons that graduated from an all boys Catholic high school in Anaheim, CA. Servite. I loved this 4 years of their life ! We would pray the seven sorrows Rosary at a Lenten Mom’s retreat. I have been consecrating myself to Mary and following this series of videos. I am praying the rosary daily but yesterday I tried praying the 7 sorrows apart from my daily rosary and truly meditating tbe rosary from her 7 sorrows pierced my heart like no other and made me feel the anguish and reality of Jesus' Passion. I am now commiting myself to pray the 7 sorrows every Tuesday and Friday but is aiming to pray it everyday. Thank you for your wonderful videos and reflections. They are truly enlightening.
I learn the 7 sorrow from you Gabi, and to Love the rosary. It was difficult for me to pray the rosary when i was started converting, then I ask the Lord please help me to meditate right Lord. Then i saw your video about the power of rosary.
I get through though pregnancy (I was bedridden), leaving with tough family member, and to learn to set boundaries it’s all learned through praying the rosary. I feel your channel like a wise brother I never had, that teach me to love God. When you other videos told us to consecration to our Lady, i was like how Lord, how should I do that? and you make this. The gift shop at Shrine and Church I attent sells the rosary w sorrows.I picked it up a few yrs ago and would try topray it on Tuesdays and Fridays not very consistent, lately I have been trying to be more intentional and consistant . Thank you Gabi for all you do..I made my 1st Consecration w St Loius Marie Grignon de Montfort book in 2020 have renewed it every year since on Feast day of Our Lady of Fatima May 13th, decided to try this one because something told it would be great and I love it..BLESSINGS TO YOU AND FAMILY🙏 Our Lady of Sorrowz pray for us🙏

Man, I've been on a roller coaster since starting this consecration, from day 1, wife problems, major issues, but major resolutions too, and since I've been doing the Rosary my anxiety has gone, but during this consecration it's come back, but and my devotion to the Rosary has been slipping, when I do the Rosary I feel the anxiety melting away, it been crazy, I know Gabi said do not change anything during time of desolation but man, I'm between a rock and a hard place in so many points in mtmy life, im hoping once this consecration is complete the desolation will ease

I have always been attracted to the seven sorrows rosary and the pictures of Mary with the seven swords. It is a special devotion, and it is good that we get to say some of them within the rosary as well. As you have said it is a great for mental prayer and really goes deep into the heart and soul of spiritual matters. Mary has supernatural strength that comes through her tears. In fact, the name Mary or Miriam comes from a plant that only grows in the Middle East and only when the plant is in distress does it release the sweetest smell.
Gabi you introduced me to the 7 Sorrows Rosary weeks ago (irresistible novena), when I started my Consecration process. Now I pray 7 sorrows during my lunch time at work, only because I had to fit it in with my all my 4 rosary 📿 prayers throughout the day, it’s so much fun

I remember one day, at the begining of my conversion, I was praying and I was meditating on the sorrows of Our Mother (I was doing a great mental prayer without knowing what I was doing), and I stoped on the sorrow when Jesus's Heart was pierced, and with fear I asked our Lady to tell me which is the sorrow here because Jesus was dead when He was pierced? I don't understand... And then I heared a voice in my heart saying to me that "this lance pierced My Immaculate Heart... I was alive... Jesus was dead but I felt the pain..."
I was amazed of this answer, and after a while I heard somewhere about this mistical truth and I was shocked to see that it was real what I understood, it was not my imagination, because I had no ideea about this truth until then....

Have you visited The Grotto, the National Sanctuary of Our Sorrowful Mother in Portland. Truly beautiful.
Mother Mary interceded for us when our son was lost when he was 12 years old. A kind stranger brought him back within a few hours while we had started searching for him and were on our way to report his missing to the police station.
We started Novena on the first of February and its gonna end on the 25th of March. Virgin most sorrowful, pray for us.

Do you pray the sorrow rosary in addition to the four rosaries? I’ve recently been drawn to the sorrow rosary and have prayed it a couple of times.
I have so totally enjoyed praying with this community in this preparation and already experienced many graces! Please, where did the drawings of Maximilian Kolbe come from for day 28? I would love to be able to pray with them.
