    Nice words of wisdom. Don't throw the dirt from the well away. You can use rammed earth technique to create all kind of structures with that dirt, even rammed earth bricks with just a little bit of cement.

    I'll be turning 25 this Month and i hope i could also buy land someday and build something.
    Its really been hard for me struggling with health issues and not being able to work because of that and money going towards hospital bills and buying medicine but I'm going to get better.

      We are blessed as individuals but not as a nation. Probably 9/10 of Zambians could never afford this. For those in the disspora earning in dollars, pounds etc. you can "live like a king" in almost any low or middle income country around the world

    Any particular reason for spending loads of money for Wall fencing? For instance security or privacy reason? It is also very high as well. With that money, you could of build two three more houses?

    thats awesome bro! do u get panga gangs coming to such houses? I can see the doors and windows have security bars. When I lived in Zambia during the 60's and 70's there were "bush" fences separating properties, we rarely locked our doors and windows were left open, when I visit in 2018 on a road trip all across Zambia, what I saw were tall brick fences separating properties. Not a good sign. I passed Kapiri Imposhi in 2018 on my way to Mombasa. Stopped at Kapisha Hot springs for the night. Zambia was wonderful but corruption on the roads is terrible, police always have their hands in our pockets, this is the big challenge for Africa.

      I have 3 hand dug wells and one new bore which was drilled in sept 2024...its 100 meters deep.

      I paid K8000 at kapiri mposhi council and paid K40,000 for lawyers K10,000 for government surveyours

      I paid K20,000 for the 10 acres in 2013. The prices in kapiri vary.. you can get K1000 per acre or even more depending if its traditional land or land on title. Land on title is much more expensive

      Yes I did.. I work and live in England. Originally from Zambia. Farmlife for is normal because I grew up on a farm.
