Coronation Street - Andy Kills Vinny & Phelan Kills Andy (27th October 2017)

- In the darkest scene ever, Coronation Street kills off two characters as they wasn't lucky in the hand of Pat Phelan. Phelan takes Andy and Vinny to the factory where he order Andy to shoot Vinny. Andy refuses to kill Vinny but he end up shoot Vinny dead. Andy's freedom runs out as Andy hold Phelan at gunpoint before Phelan get hold into the hand. Despite Andy's last words as he begging Phelan who end up finishing Andy off by shooting him dead. Phelan apologise to (dead) Andy but this was the only way?
What a shocker!

The best part of all this drivel was Andy twice showing how he's somehow come to rely on and trust Phelan - psychologists recognise this as a bizarre 'captor/prisoner' thing. First, he warned Pat as Vinny was about to jump him, and second, Andy gave Phelan the gun !!

Here what you need to know . Andy carver played by Oliver farnworth arrived In weather field on the 21st November 2014 posing as Michael's son Gavin until 2nd march 2015 and he was hit in the head by pat phelan with Kevin's laptop and returned from the dead on the 18th August 2017. On the 27th October 2017 he was forced to kill Vinny Ashford after he did it pat phelan turned the gun on him and shot him dead and dumped his body in the lake alongside Vinny on the 5th march 2018 development was being done at the mill site to have the pond drained then a panicked phelan drags and Vinny's body and fills it up with cement . On the 29th march 2018 after Gary and seb were arrested after digging up the concrete at the mill site looking for the gun then the police find Andy carver's leg wrapped up and a shoe in the concrete

To this day I will never understand why they killed Andy off , he should of been either him or Gary Windass that killed Pat instead of Anna Windass who left instantly ? It was almost all the suffering was for nothing
Nah I do think Anna was the right person. Pat always had a thing for her and terrorized her for months.
Andy might not acc be dead bc y would they do that after just bringing him back at the end of the episode something moved in the water so I think that Nicola will go to her parents bench before she leaves and Andy will see her.

No cause pat saw how it was eating up Andy that he killed someone. Pat still would have put him out of his misery.

tom fluff I want him to be alive I really do. But the way everyone is talking about it and saying he is really dead really makes me believe he is really dead. Although I'm still holding some hope he is alive. Maybe they are really are trying to make us believe he is dead to surprise us even more when they reveal he is alive.
I love prison break lol i'm hoping for 1 of 2 things. andy to walk into the rovers on christmas eve or that letter he wrote gets found. Cant remember what phelan did with the letter.
tom fluff I hope somthing like that does happen because after all these months of watching you would there would be a happy ending that's what a lot of people were thinking. I think pat put the letter in his back pocket. So you never know.

What a dramatic scene
This storyline is playing out here now. I think Corrie has gone too far with the demented torture of Andy . We get the point but to me it is far too dark and actually very disturbing . Particularly with a guy like Andy . I will be glad when we move beyond this. Having said this, the actual character analysis of Phelan is far more interesting than the violence

I'm sorry to say but corrie let us down. Why raise our hopes and for what nothing. I do like intense story's but this went way to far. You definitely should have done it better or not do it at all.

Charles Robinson I know that. But what's really the point. Andy is dead he is the only person who knows every side of him the good and the bad. Andy could have came back months later to tell everybody what pat had done.
