- Don't let anyone trick you into thinking life isn't hard. Experience tells us all that life is truly difficult at times. But even still... haven't you ever just wished it was easier?
Today, Fr. Mike proposes an alternative to just wishing things were easier. When life gets difficult, there is only one way forward (hint: it's not just grinning and bearing it).

This month in the early weeks of the new year.. I lost my great uncle and my great beautiful friend who died of pancreases disease. And she helped me when I was going through depression & suicidal thoughts and she saved my life by God through a text. And I’m trusting in God in this year! I’ve suffered a lot but I’m not giving up. Pray for me ❤️
Woke up crying today because I am in a season of suffering for 6 years now, and I am exhausted. Your video is a like a balm for the soul. Thank you for putting it into perspective Fr.Mike!
Life is hard. You have to be strong. You aren't strong enough. Let God be strong for you.
My mom used to always tell me when I was going through tough times, “Remember, this is not our permanent home.” This always helped me to keep focused on what’s to come…eternal joy with Our Lord!

I've been unemployed since Nov 6th. Waiting on a phone interview today. Praying, suddenly thought Fr Mike. Found this message. Thank you, Father Mike.
Its been difficult for me since 2003.
Everyone notice his voice. He seems exhausted and earnest at the same time. This is a true champion of God in my opinion.
The words: "God, I can't; you can. Be with me now." will stay with me.
Please pray for me. I have suffered in ways that words cannot express due to schizophrenia.
Good words, father, Mike. You’re doing the right thing. You’re giving God glory. You’re helping others to give God glory. This is a life worth loving. God will bless you. I’m sure he is.
Thank you, Father Mike, for this insight. I'm not your target audience...I'm a 70 year old Protestant woman who has learned so much from you. One of the greatest pieces of advise I was ever given is this: "This too will pass." The key is to remember that both good and bad will pass.
Thanks I needed this video, I've been really sad and almost empty lately... like a rock bottom situation were only death seems to be the best way out of my thoughts and sadness.

I’ve been sitting here having a pity party because since 01/01, we’ve had $500 in copays and meds, a root canal, and my husband was hit while driving and totaled his truck. It feels like it’s a never ending storm, this past year. Needed this!
I'm 14 years old, and I've known Jesus since I was a younger, but I took Him seriously when I was 14. I want to serve God with my whole heart, i know that the devil's gonna try to attack me but even when life's hard I'll never lose my faith in Him because He's the only right way.
Yup. Life isnt easy, especially when you ruin it from stupid mistakes and have to live with the consequences. Life is difficult and i made it even more difficult for myself 😂 BUT i am feeling the very subtle changes in my ability to accept the difficulties because im not alone. Every now and then, the serenity prayer comes to mind:
Jesus..I surrender myself to you...please take care of everything!! Thank you Fr Michael...I needed that...
