Hello! This is Mr Dinosaur! Thank you for the kind words! If you two are willing to deep dive into Avatar, then i am happy to oblige! This is from their 9th studio album, 'Dance Devil Dance'. 9 albums! If you like the comedic side, they definetly have that in spades. Pure showmanship!
They put a lot of work and love into their music and videos! They made 2 concept albums (one is a fable about an owl, bird of the night, who goes to war against an eagle, a diurnal bird- an emotional rollercoaster, it's definitely my favorite album! On spotify you actually have these bonus poems between each song that tell the story! And the other is the legend of the King -Jonas, one of the guitarists! This one has a more comedic side!) To prove even more how much work they put in all of this, they learned how to play a song _backwards_ so it would look normal in reverse for a music video (Torn Apart)! I hope you'll check out more songs by them, they're amazing!
@@pandoamessi4079 I love ALL of their songs! By the way, the album was released in June 2017, and in July Johannes began releasing a podcast. A coincidence? I don't think so.😆
Nice! References to another Avatar videos: the statue was in Legend of Avatar Country: A Metal Odyssey, Tim have magic guitar like in The King Wants You, and Kungen policeman with a truncheon again like in Smells like a Freakshow!😍😍😍Also retro vibes like in films with Julie Andrews. Part of this song was in Dance Devil Dance video, by the way. Update: It was supposed to be a band performance, but everyone is slowly turning into monkeys (except John, he's a cat) like werewolves. With a bunch of references to famous monkeys like King Kong, Кoko the gorilla, etc. Yeah, Johannes was supposed to be playing Кoko the gorilla with a kitten at the end. Also, the song used to be called simply Chimp. But John persuaded to expand the name.
I can tell that you'd love the journey of discovering Avatar. Don't hold back! I love them aside from the music itself because they are one of the few bands that take the music more seriously than themselves, if that makes any sense. They can be very heavy and yet they can be very whimsical. Almost every Avatar video has been done by the same director and they make some really cool stuff together. They are such a fun band to dive into because every song and every album are different. Absolutely KILL live! But many videos are poor quality cell phone recordings. But if they come to your town on the next tour you'd be wise to get tickets. I'm not even going to suggest the next song to react to. I'll leave that to either you or a Patreon member. Either way I'll bet it's a banger!
I just saw them live yesterday for the first time. IT WAS AMAZING! They know how to put on a show and they sound incredible too! I highly recommend checking out some of their live performances if you have time! But since you're new, another great welcoming song will be *The King Welcomes You To Avatar Country!* You'll get to hear more of his vocal range and enjoy the comedy alongside some great music! Bloody Angel will have a darker tone, so that will also be nice for a change if you're curious! Enjoy this metal circus to fullest🤘❤

I brought Travis and Suzie 'The Dirt I'm Buried in' back in January, and I have a request in queue for them as well :)

@@Ginger_Monster 100% agree! Do you have a favorite song from that album or a top 3?

There's no such thing as a coincidence when it comes to them😂
@@pandoamessi4079 Indeed! What is your most favorite thing in Avatar? Mine is upbeat sound with gloomy lyrics.
