Buying a stock is easy, but buying the right stock without a time-tested strategy is incredibly hard. Hence what are the best stocks to buy now or put on a watchlist? I came here to learn how to trade after listening to a guy on radio talk about the importance of investing and how he made $460,000 in 4 months from $160k. Somehow this video has helped shed light on some things, but I'm confused about the current market volatility, I'm a newbie and I'm open to ideas.
I wish i learnt most of these principles about seven years ago. A lot of people have been trapped strongly in the matrix-- Go to school, get a job, and then slave your whole life. Many miss out on life-changing information that could have great effect on their finances. I played with the stock market sometime in 2020, and I was surprised at how well it turned out. I want to put in $90k more into the market. I heard people are making really great returns despite the downturn. Any recommendations?

My wife and I were following this same trajectory. Last two years, I pulled out my money and invested with her wealth manager. Not catching up with her profits over the years, but at least I earn more. Haha.

I have been working with "Deborah Sue Bohn" for about four years now, and she's made decent returns. If she meets your discretion, then you could go ahead.

I feel investors should be focusing on under-the-radar stocks, and considering the current rollercoaster nature of the stock market, Because 35% of my $270k portfolio comprises of plummeting stocks which were once revered and i don't know where to go here out of devastation.

Several of the biggest market experts have been voicing their opinions on exactly how awful they think the next downturn would be, and how far equities may have to go, as recession draws closer and inflation continues well above the Fed's 2% objective. I'm trying to build a portfolio of at least $850k by the time I'm 60, therefore I need suggestions on what investments to make.
It takes some gut to really remain in the market despite downturns and all. So just find quality stocks that have long term potential, and ride with those stocks. I have found it takes someone who is very familiar with the market to make such good picks.

Masi is a fraud and had been exposed several times for trying to pass off her demo trades as live trades to sell her courses. She used to sell discord chats and would often get exposed by her own students and other influencers for faking her trades. Look it up if you don’t believe me.

Options on cash account aren’t under PDT rule either so small accounts can buy and day trade as many options as their account will let them each day and do it again the next, the cash just settles overnight, not 3 days like stock. Why options are very popular

There are advanced options trading strategies where there can be unlimited loses!
Stick to long or covered calls/puts as a beginner before trying different strategies. (Most trading platforms only allow basic options trading for new options traders anyways. A certain amount of capital is also required in order to place high risk options like naked calls.)

Just clarifying - 14:05 - On short side, he asked about Option Writers (Sellers) and yes, they get screwed/margin called during gamma moves against their direction if they aren't hedged, Masi responded being an option buyer purely - be it buying calls (for underlying longs) or buying puts (for underlying shorts).

Almost all first timers feel this way, it's normal.
The best way to earn from crypto currency is by trading, while some choose to simply buy and hodl, trading earns much more and it's easier.
Crypto investment requires good experience and knowledge to carry out good and successful trade. because I have actually lost a lot trying to trade all by myself.
I'll always pick crypto over stock because the stock market crash is simply inevitable.

And you can also have infinite losses shorting puts, even fully hedged (from the short stock component)
Selling calls fully hedged theoretically has a capped loss (if stock goes to 0)

nice video but really wanna say this cuz i'm an options trader as well to the question u asked about short side.. so the loss is limited cuz ur still BUYING put options, ur not SELLING it.. she is an option buyer as well like i am thts why technically it's not shorting cuz we still BUYING PUTS as in we're betting for the downside but still we're not selling it.. cuz option selling is totally a different thing n it's also known as OPTION WRITING n in tht loss is definitely not limited, which i also do like sometimes when market's are hella choppy..so ya just wanted to put it out there for people who gets confused here!!
Options are like a timed bet. You not only need to be right on the trade direction, it has to happen in the time you want or you still lose. Also, many contracts have no intrinsic value and will expire worthless st expiration unless your timed bet is right. Of course you can write (sell) options, which is a much different strategy
That’s why I found it fascinating when she claimed her consistency came from options but was nowhere to be found in equities.. 🫠

I’m compiling and picking stocks that I’d love to hold on to for a few years before retirement, do you think these stocks would do better over the years? Still better deal than letting it sit in savings or checking earning near 5% interest
Dont be afraid to realize gains
simple answer as to why options (on short side) yo can only lose what you put in.......if you short a stock you are borrowing money , a short can only be done in type 2 (margin) which really is type 6. so the higher the stock goes the more u can lose. in options in a cash account there is no borrowing $ it goes to zero and that's all
I see the rising interest rate as a very big problem, as more investors will definitely pull out more money from the Stock market. This might have worked when I was still invest-ing with a couple thousand dollars, but it is more difficult now to decide whether to pull out more than $365k from my port-folio. I know some inves-tors still make that despite the strong bear market. In wish I could pull that feat
I think the whole thing about holding stocks for long term will always apply. So I think you should get a quality broker who is able to analyze and pick stocks that will do well in the long term, else you will be in a long bear ride.
