Just seeing the Concorde come over and pass your way low in the air was really something to see and hear,
the look of it with the main gear down and coming in on final approach was something you had to be there to see and witness.
Lithe and totally futuristic was all you could say about it as it passed by in front of you.
It really made an impression on you as it passed by with the nose down on final approach.

whoever did the footage on this really knew what they were doing with a video camera.
really nice as it's passing by you and then you see it in the trees and the hanging bush's,
    really something to see.
you can't accpt it at first as it's alot smaller than a commercial jet but alot more graceful with those long curved delta wing's.
sadly not flying anymore because of one blunder that could happen to any commercial jet.
    Really sickening.

Great video. I bet you miss that roar going over your head everyday now that she's gone? Dave

I used to love watching the old girl both landing and taking off.

@class37trash That was sarcasm: it's almost always cloudy over the UK...

"then why did BA not sell it to Branson?"
Because Branson didn't have the infrastructure to operate them, nor anywhere near the money to create it from scratch... so why buy into his media campaign, just to get VS tons of exposure, only for the aircraft to be repainted and go directly to museums?
"but without Airbus who AF had persuaded into going with them BA had to stop."
Congrats on repeating exactly what I just said.....

concorde was one of the most trouble free aircraft built, and just becaust they have one mishap,, like other comm planes havent has thing's happen?
they stop serevice and retire them???
totallly stupid and idiotic on thier part.
i still feel angry over this as it;s so rediculous like BA is trying to cover thier behind.

Actually it wasn't the crash itself. 1 year After the crash the aircraft was relaunched with safety modifications with the Intention to fly Into the year 2015. It was the soaring operational costs and the general downturn following 9 11 leading to a early retirement in 2003.
