this is 1 of my favorite games of all time...&i still play it from time to time..i can't believe i been playing this game on &off since jr.high...i won the National Championship on here so many times i've lost count.&to top it off i have a co worker that was in this game&we're like good friends&joke about him being in a video game around the office🏀
I Absolutely Loved this Game!!! Man, I would play this Endlessly, Especially the Tournament Mode!! This was Actually better than NBA Live 95-98 on Genesis. The Graphics, Gameplay, Cut Scenes, Presentation & Sound Effects were Ahead of it's Time. The only thing Hated about this Game is, they didn't have North Carolina on it. Smh. #ClassicGame🏀 #GreatMemories!!🕹️
I loved this game for basically one reason: UCLA. I’m a UCLA alum and this had 3 different UCLA teams on it. One from the Alcindor era, one from the Walton era, and since they won in 1995, the O’Bannon/Edney championship team. 😊🐻💙💛
This game is dope but they should have at least added 5 or 10 more teams. Coach k game maker left out surprisingly Unc, Georgetown, Memphis, Oklahoma, Texas, Stanford, New Mexico St, Iowa St, Arizona St, and Mississippi St. classic teams 82 Unc and 84 Georgetown. You can finish at a ranking if 32 and make the tournament. Coach k is still a good game !!!!
Yeah I can’t believe they left our unc and Georgetown! I’m mad I didn’t get to play with Allen iverson! Or Rasheed Wallace! Georgetown 84 would of been great!
It was!!! We created our own schedule and played a 20 game season a single elimination tourney. Duke, (My team) Arizona, Maryland, Kansas and Syracuse.
Sports games sold better on Genesis. EA also had a better licensing deal with Sega. So the potential to profit off of a game was alot better for them on Genesis then SNES. Hence EA has tons of Genesis exclusives.
The two modes that 2k and Live desperately needs is a MyWNBA( that goes along with a female MyCareer, MyPlaryer) and a MyCoach and it is very easy and necessary for 2K to put them in. Female and male should play together on MyPark, Pro Am, and any other tournaments.

Probably my favorite 16-bit era basketball game, along with the And The NBA Playoffs EA Sports games. Even though it didn't have Notre Dame in it.

My childhood. I played with Kentucky! Kind of ironic for a game named after the Duke head coach in the 80s
Kentucky had a great team, freshman Antoine walker, Walter McCarty, tony delk mark Pope!
Dukes team sucked, they had Jason capel and Cherokee parks!

They crossed over... You had to use "Turbo" & switch directions quickly
