if you going for looks you can by E39 530d or some other variant, put on M packet, and drive, its not that expensive to do that, it it will look like M5
But that's not an M5.
Also, don't tell me that you're the one of those drivers that put an M badge in a diesel BMW.

The 2nd lowest M5 E39 I‘ve ever heard of! Unbelievable. And I can‘t wait to take delivery of my 2000 M5 E39 (Facelift) next week. It‘s special, unique and a one time. It has just over 98‘ tkm and in perfect condition. The exterior color is called Leman Blue. The interior color is (hold your breath) called lotus white (extended full leather). The trim isn‘t wood oder aluminium, it‘s black leather! Everything original and from the factory. The ceilling and even the whole trunk is in alcantara!I’ super excited and can’t wait for it! I have a 2000 540/6 with 86k....titan/ silverstone....it's my baby it's chipped and has dinan stage 2 upgrade .I felt kind of guilty when I would drive it becuz of mileage guilt!.....after getting diagnosed with stage 4 lung and colorectal cancer I gave my e30 to my friends son ...sold my 330 to friend very cheap......and I put a new clutch in the e39......wow ...I know it's not a m5 but it will really go.........I don't hold back when driving it back and fourth to the v.a for chemo......that car is one of the few things I really truly enjoy. It's a 97 mile round trip.....I've had 22 rounds of chemo and 25 rounds of radiation....I don't drive it through the winter months do to the salt brine.I would love to have an m5 the queen of highway but the truth is Bmw has made me more then happy since my 1st red 318i from 1985.....thanks Bmw for all the breath taking acceleration to kickass cornering......truth be told ...this is 1 one of those mileage guilt cars.....show only...what a darling.

I have a humble 2004 bmw 325i SULEV with only 48k miles on it. I'm the original owner. Is been garaged. Driven in light 🌧️ only a 2 or 3 times. My original battery lasted 13 years. Changed oil sensor. Cylinder 6 wasn't firing so i changed all six ignition coils and is now much improved. Eldor ignition coils are superior to OEM.

God Knows, if I had the money this car would be mine. Whoever buys this should drive it low miles and baby it. I can confidently say this car will be worth a fortune in the future. Definitely a great investment to make some real money long term.

Fantastic condition! However paradoxically it's a crime not to drive these cars. They were meant to be driven and not driving them can lead to mechanical problems as you said.
Absolutely beautiful. I'm just dumbfounded on what these repeat customers do with these cars? Buy it for what I'm sure is a pretty penny, drive it for a few thousand miles then trade it in for another x amount years down the line? That's barely enough time to get to know the vehicle. Unfortunately, for the most part these cars will just be sitting in a garage looking pretty. When I buy one of these bad boys, I'm driving the hell out of it and it will have the inevitable scars to show for it. I'm going to use it as it was intended.
