"we needed to protect you from yourself" says Andy to Rick. That's real friendship and running community. Let's all do it together! Team spirit is amazing! Love TRC.
First off I want to say I love this content. The constant laughter really shows how real friends you all are and how you all get on together. Weird relays and odd kinds of runs are what my friends and I thrive on. We also get weird, laugh, topic jump, over share, over eat, over buy food, and I saw so much of us in you in this pod cast. So thank you and keep up the great work! You inspire so many people! 😍😍😍😍😍😍
Great, fun podcast! Love, love, love! The addition of exhaustion and wine is a very viewable combination, especially while I’m Zwifting and watching 👌 Happy to see the Rickster back running and in top pazizz form, really missed him during his rehab period. You guys rock, well done 👏👏👏
Just signed up for "Running Home for Xmas", a great cause! A friend was recently diagnosed and give a very short life expectancy, so glad to be a part of doing something.
This is one of the funniest videos you've done. You should all get sleep deprived more often, it was like watching drunk people at the end of the night. LOVED IT!
So good, funny, and a little bit delirious that podcast, love it. For running home for Christmas I will be running in at least 4 different cities on 2 continents. I am currently in Pucallpa in the Peruvian Amazon jungle and have run here, then back home to Lima, and running there. Then, I am flying to Australia for Christmas and will be in Sydney, running there, and then flying to see friends in Perth and will run there! On another point due to the MND link have you tried to get an interview with Kevin Sinfield and all his ultra running for MND and Rob Burrow etc...
Your podcasts inspire me to run, this one inspires me to run for a charity (and log it on Strava). I work in pediatric medicine and patients& families with MND break my heart, and build it back up with their courage..❤.😢
This Gavicast is hilarious! Great you're all enjoying yourselves in fairness - kudos - and I'm going to sign up for your running home Strava club because it was so funny!
You guys are such a great motivation to get starting again with running. Thanks for that and congratulations with your great accomplishment, I'm excited to join Running Home for Christmas!
Just watched while doing zone 2 training on my turbo trainer and loved it, I’ve also signed up my running activities to the running home for Christmas challenge too 😅😅.
This was my favorite podcast yet! Loved the laid-back atmosphere. I have my first run of December scheduled today and can't wait to join in on the fun!
Love these podcasts, and the channel in general. My running home is getting in the last 50k to hit my 500k yearly target. These challenges inspire to do something more meaningful with my running than just challenging myself. How about a TRC community relay next year?
Hi. The best podcast by far. Tears were rolling down my face from laughing so much. Brillioant. Thank you. Well done to all the team and for such a great cause. I can't join you on the journey as just recovering from surgery 3 days ago so I am having to take it easy. Good luck to all the team that are tackling the Valencia Marathon❤❤. I'll be thefe in spirit supporting you
No one talks about bum chaffing! I found out about it on my first marathon and was trying to raise awareness at my last club run although people didn't really want to hear / believe. IT'S A THING! right back in the box and back to watch the rest of the podcast
This was amazing to listen to, I was running to a Santa Clause parade where my husband and kids had gone ahead to a friend's house close by the parade route. Here I was laughing at this while running on the Trans Canada Trail through the bush in the dark and it was amazing. Thank you so much for doing this challenge and making this podcast. I've signed up for the challenge and hope to help as much as I can to get to the goal. Goodluck in Valencia and hope you all got some good sleep after this.
I listened to this pod before my long run and had never heard of butt chafing. Just had a shower after my run and can confirm it’s a thing 🤣 thanks Sarah haha
Well done on the running home for Xmas guys! Looking forward to taking part in the challenge, I’ll not be running for the first week due to finishing my own challenge. I completed running 10.5 miles in a 10kg weight vest everyday of November (but 12.5 on day 1 and 30) so I’ll be taking a rest 😂 The podcast was a great distraction during the month so thanks for the content. And best of luck for tomorrow Andy, excited for the result!! 🎉
That was hilarious!! I think you were all delirious!! Made for very good entertainment, just hearing Sarah chuckling her way through the whole podcast 😂😂😂
The tears are due to me chopping onions for dinner. This is a great charity to support. I'll have to run most of this month on the treadmill as the cold air as been affecting my lungs and setting off my asthma. I'll do my best.
I think running home for christmas might be a bit much for me (Brisbane->Basingstoke ~16,500km). So instead Ill run loads of km’s around here in the oppressive heat. Great to see you all kicking back relaxing and delirious after the big run! Very funny to watch 😂 (Also well done Andy on backing up from that run and heading to Valencia for an amazing time! 💪)
I’m voting for a Running Home for Christmas milestone that is a bottle of Gavi di Gavi 🍾 I’m hoping to run everyday (Dec 1st to Dec 25th) for RHFC - lost my Gran to MND so glad to be able to support it this way. Amazing effort by the team - thanks for great content too 😂
just signed up for running home for Christmas. I'm just getting back into running after some medical issues and I'm so excited about it. Also I get the but chafing I get it as well
Hi guys, hilarious podcast, lovely to see how well you get along and how supportive you are to each other. I'm from the Netherlands. I am not gonna donate to your MND-couse in England (too complicated), but will make a donation to ALS foundation in the Netherlands. 0.25 euro for every kilometer that I run in December. Alarm set for the 31th of December to make it happen.
👏👏👏👏👏 Please get Kevin Sinfield on the channel for an interview, he does so much for MND and his best mate, Rob Burrows. I think Kevin has raised upwards of £8 million so far and just doesn't stop.
Always love listening to your podcasts but this one had an extra special 'something'... I think it was Gavi :) So good i watched it when i got back from my wander. even funnier!
My plan for December is to try and do a 100k week... inspired by the GingerRunner 100mile week challenge. Might be a usual training week for some, but it is more than 2x my usual weekly distance. Just curious how it feels. Re bum chafing: just ask the cyclists... chamoix cream!
I know it’s a good cause, which I fully support but this made me a bit sad too. I used to “cycle home for Christmas”, but both my parents are dead now so I can’t anymore 😢.
Your podcasts do make me laugh and this one especially. As i am 10 years older than Andy i shouldn't really laugh at the constant Agism he suffers from Young Sarah particularly ,But i always do!
Bum chaffing... it's a thing and it's not fun. Part of my Running home for Christmas will be the Triple Challenge team in Belgium. They're running 184km for 'De Warmste Week' and I hope I can follow 90km in 2 parts.
I do worry about the man who you saw on the canal. Life is hard and this time of year is even harder. He could have been there for a very sad reason I do not want to mention here. Someone should of checked on him.
Listening to you lot is like being the only sober person at a party. Absolutely bonkers! Love it!
"we needed to protect you from yourself" says Andy to Rick. That's real friendship and running community. Let's all do it together! Team spirit is amazing! Love TRC.

Great cause, my brother died of MND, so thanks for raising money for research into that terrible disease
I’m sorry to hear that George. It’s stories like this that keep us motivated to raise money and awareness 💙
Thank you for taking part and for sharing your why 💙
The absolute best podcast you've done! Funny, raw, emotional and true. What an achievement team well done!!!
Thank you!!
Signed up, joined the Strava group and will add miles to the cause as I also work towards completing my third Marcothon challenge! 😄
This is one of the funniest videos you've done. You should all get sleep deprived more often, it was like watching drunk people at the end of the night. LOVED IT!

From this podcast it is possible to see what am amzing team you are, looking out for each other and working so well together. Amazing effort.
Just watched while doing zone 2 training on my turbo trainer and loved it, I’ve also signed up my running activities to the running home for Christmas challenge too 😅😅.
Yes!! Welcome aboard 🙌🏻🙌🏻
This was super funny and super emotional too. Can’t wait to watch the video. Well done to you all, great team effort for a great cause. ❤
Bum chafing: Right here!✋Today! Thank you for starting the discussion, Sarah! The rash is real!
Watching the podcast and then the event/challenge being described in the podcast right after is the best way to binge watch TRC. ❤️
This was my favorite podcast yet! Loved the laid-back atmosphere. I have my first run of December scheduled today and can't wait to join in on the fun!
I’m out of running due to injury at the moment. And i am loving this. So entertaining. Being tired, you talk slower, which is great!!
Glorious chaos, you guys always seem to have fun. Looking forward to the video dropping and have signed up to Running Home for Xmas.
Can't get enough of this podcast! Great stuff team :)
They are so deliriously sleep deprived and it is hilarious 🤣. I laughed my way through this entire video! Nice work, all!
Love these podcasts, and the channel in general. My running home is getting in the last 50k to hit my 500k yearly target. These challenges inspire to do something more meaningful with my running than just challenging myself. How about a TRC community relay next year?
Signed up and submitted my first km for Dec! I’m a physician, and I love this.

Super funny and motivational podcast
Thank you 🙌🏻🙌🏻
I listened to this pod before my long run and had never heard of butt chafing. Just had a shower after my run and can confirm it’s a thing 🤣 thanks Sarah haha
This was hilarious. You should have continued!!!! I will have to join this year if you do something similar
Well done on the running home for Xmas guys! Looking forward to taking part in the challenge, I’ll not be running for the first week due to finishing my own challenge. I completed running 10.5 miles in a 10kg weight vest everyday of November (but 12.5 on day 1 and 30) so I’ll be taking a rest 😂
The podcast was a great distraction during the month so thanks for the content. And best of luck for tomorrow Andy, excited for the result!! 🎉
I have been following this via Instagram and one minute in, I’m already crying! ❤ It will be one of your best video’s!
PS: Good luck Andy!
Thank you!! 🤩
That was hilarious!! I think you were all delirious!! Made for very good entertainment, just hearing Sarah chuckling her way through the whole podcast 😂😂😂
9:30 Sarah, totally! I use chamois cream since I have it already, any run over 10 miles.
You guys are the best, well done on an epic challenge, I’ve signed up! Oh you’ve made me laugh out loud on a run!
The tears are due to me chopping onions for dinner. This is a great charity to support.

Absolutely wonderful. Gavi on 🎉
I would definitely like to see more delirious/drunk videos from this crew! Epic!
I’m voting for a Running Home for Christmas milestone that is a bottle of Gavi di Gavi 🍾
I’m hoping to run everyday (Dec 1st to Dec 25th) for RHFC - lost my Gran to MND so glad to be able to support it this way.
Amazing effort by the team - thanks for great content too 😂
Maybe it's not the most informative episode, but definitely one of the best :)
Hi guys I love your podcasts and have just signed up . And gone to strava too. Keep going love the running topics and humour too. Merry Christmas 🤶 🎄
Best pod cast so far
Well done one and all. It sounds you all had a lot of fun 😊😊😊😊
Best podcast ever. Please, more lack of sleep and Gavi!
Bum Chafing is a lovely little village in Yorkshire
Hahaha is it actually?!
just signed up for running home for Christmas. I'm just getting back into running after some medical issues and I'm so excited about it. Also I get the but chafing I get it as well
Amazing challenge, superb podcast! 😂😂😂
Thank you Rick for sharing what NHS stood for haha
😂😂😂😂
Bum chafing is real. We talk about on all of our long runs. Thank goodness for the various products out there.
"Panazz" - great word, I'll be using that in future - thanks Rick! 😉👍
😂 Loved this podcast! Well done team 👏
This has been hilarious. Congratulations
I'm training for my first marathon (in Feb) so hoping to get a few miles this month! Although a bad start to the month as I've got a headache & fever!
30:57 its these two picking on Andy that I love so much ❤❤ James did what he did and had every right probably 😂😂 love you Andy 😂😂😂😂😂

You guys are hilarious 😂 can't tell if it's the gavi or the sleep deprivation though 😂 Well done guys and good luck for Valencia 🤞
Nice. Love it. OMG it’s going off the rails crazy… LOVE IT.😂
Brilliant podcast 🤣🤣🤣 shame they’re not all filmed
Maybe sometime soon…
That dead elf behind rick though! 😂
Love ❤️ it awesome guys
🤗Wonderful team🤗
Can I record on Strava with my FitBit?
Hah! Tell Tom that this might've been the most hilarious podcast so far, and that the lack of coherent segments was not at all missed.
Hahaha we will tell him to keep his thoughts to himself 😂
How do you sign up for the Running home for Christmas on Strava? x
Based on this piece of content, I'm sure I'd thoroughly enjoy 2 hours of you guys in a room with several bottles of Gavi XD
That's why Sarah strava showed cycling in my neck of the woods Wolverhampton
I know it’s a good cause, which I fully support but this made me a bit sad too. I used to “cycle home for Christmas”, but both my parents are dead now so I can’t anymore 😢.
Most workplaces try to do team building exercises and it's just terrible. These guys nailed it.
please more slightly delirious content in the future!
I live 880km from home 😅😅😅...but I'll sign up and run as much as I can
Your podcasts do make me laugh and this one especially. As i am 10 years older than Andy i shouldn't really laugh at the constant Agism he suffers from Young Sarah particularly ,But i always do!
I would lo e to see you all do a RAGNAR road or trail. Lots of good ones in the US
Wtf is Gavvy? (asks Michelle in NZ)
You should add alcohol to every episode. That was awesome!!!
Bum chaffing... it's a thing and it's not fun. Part of my Running home for Christmas will be the Triple Challenge team in Belgium. They're running 184km for 'De Warmste Week' and I hope I can follow 90km in 2 parts.
PS Andy 6 kids really? Wow!
Only three don’t worry 😉
I do worry about the man who you saw on the canal. Life is hard and this time of year is even harder. He could have been there for a very sad reason I do not want to mention here. Someone should of checked on him.
"Panazz" and 'panache'! are similar but with "Panazz" you need glitter or streamers.
Bum Chaffing, never had it; don't want it; sounds abit stingy maybe it's caused by overly tight shorts?
You might be right there 🤔
Funniest podcast ever! 😂😂😂
This is the worst best podcast ever. 😵💫
I hope the people whose questions you answered don't take any of this as training advice 😂😂
You should ask people to send in pictures of their bum chafe
Maybe not 😅
