If you were able to use unlimited T5's you would be able to get pretty far in a btd 6 game right? Well today, Sabre and Tewtiy have chosen their champions! They will use the crossbow master and the archmage to find out which one of them can get to the highest round in the game!

Sabre getting sharp shots hurts my soul
Tewbre, Archmage is always better with bottom path because intense magic can make Archmage pop way more Bloons and Monkey sense will make it so Archmage will actually see camouflage Bloons because Archmage can only shimmer the Bloons and he is slow at simmering.
Also, with the tier 5 Archmage, he gets dragon's breath anyways so yeah 502 is better than 520
Archmage also gets shimmer, so both paths aren't worth it all the time

Nope 520 is better because the dragons breath he get at t5 is 2x damage if you go 520 and you only get 5 extra pierce with the 502

The better crosspath on the archmage is intense magic to make the normal attack do more damage, don't get monkey sense because it already has shimmer

BTD6 logic arcane mastery can’t hit purple so that means it’s magic damage but it can’t pop lead
Tewtiy, you could’ve gotten so much farther if you brought your wizards to 5-0-1 or 5-0-2, intense magic adds a ton of popping power for it

Tewtiy shouldve did 502 Archmage cause it gives bonus range peirce and faster attack plus camo detection, because before he was relying on the shimmer to uncamo before it attacked (and villages)
Villages covered a lot and ddts weren’t a problem and with that many wizards the the shimmer would always be active

The proper pronunciation for arch mage can be either ark or arch neither is wrong and they both mean about the same thing it is usually just a dialect difference 😂

It Arch (Are K) Mage. Arch (Are ch) is used specifically only for archways. Though some pronounce it as (are k ways) which is a rather uncommon practice. (are k)mages are a type of mage within the magic community. So, if anyone was curious. Its (are k mage)

Archmage is underrated
Eh, its properly rated, its got some good dps on easier maps but its a pretty mid dps tower compared to something like Avatar of Wrath

Crossbow master vs ROBO MOMKEY
To properly balance Archmage, it should do 27 damage to all Bloons instead of 27 to MOABs and 8 to bloons. Contrary to popular belief, Archmage deals with ceramics very well. It appears to be ineffective against ceramics because it spawns to many for it to handle, because it pops so many MOABs at once and so quickly. If either 1. Archmage has its price decreased significantly along with the removal of the extra MOAB damage, it wouldn’t spawn so many ceramics, giving it the ability to pop MOAB layers individually, and be able to clean up after itself
2. Increase the price, but make the 27 damage apply to all Bloons, instead of the current 8 damage and +19 MOAB damage. This would also allow the Archmage to clean up after itself, but its overall cost and power level would be higher than the first solution
3. Give Archmage double damage to its first target hit, much like Ray of Doom. This would also make it pop MOAB layers of Bloons hit after the original target pop after the layer of the original by a larger margin, making the ceramic clump created by Archmage much less dense, and not requiring a major rework.

Why does support category have 1 money marking tower but military has two towers
Those towers are kinda bad for money, boat is the only one that can even compare to farm.

While these are both upgrades that get trashed on by tryhards, Archmage is more expensive and thus probably lasts longer in such a scenario.

well you get dragon's breath regardless of crosspath, it's just that all fire attacks from the archmage are buffed by the fire crosspath
