originally it was only 12 girls as the concept was originally based on the twelve jinchai (12 hairpins) that represent womanhood in chinese mythology. it wasn't until later that a 13th member joined but hey decided to retain their original name

SFMonster, Yuan Sun is the best looking one out of all of them with Shuang Zhang coming in at a close second. I'm so sad that Shuang Zhang left the Twelve Girls Band.
I suspect their like the Spice Girls x 3, in that each of them is someone's favorite. Mine is Jin Jiang, at least on the basis of this video -- rides that ehru like a snake. Yin Yan runs a close second -- serious rocker attitude in those eyes.
