Thanks for your continued uploads. Did they happen to show in Australia the episode after Brooke and Eric's wedding (i.e. Their Palm Springs honeymoon)? In the US episode that aired, they showed the original opening credits from 1991, but used the 33-second music from 2000-2004, which I found quite odd as they didn't do that for any other episode.
PaisaEsteban no, we only got the wedding, not the next episode. I noticed they replaced the opening music on the US play out. The Australian play out has been using the original cut (although Network 10 removes the closing credits always)
@@boldbeautifulau In my location, I was hoping that they'd also air the classic episodes on our local affiliate, as they still show the closing credits, but since the reruns began, all they've been showing are episodes from just about a month ago. It sucks! The closing credits are a great part of the show too, especially the older ones. There's someone who has the US versions of same-day classic B&B episodes that recently aired and they're actually full screen episodes.
PaisaEsteban additionally, CBS have trimmed these classic episodes from their original edit. They only allow a maximum of 18 and a half minutes these days. For example, the 1997 Lake Como had approx 2 minutes removed. All the others have been snipped too. Unfortunately for Australia, we’ve been supplied the CBS edit for the classic eps - we always air the international distribution edit which is 22 minutes (this edit includes the bonus scene which CBS doesn’t broadcast - website only)
@@boldbeautifulau Yes! I realised that the run time has been cut and some scenes have been edited. The Young and the Restless seems to be doing its fair share of editing too with some scenes being completely removed if they were not relevant to the theme of the week. If you noticed as well, the original music used in some scenes (especially the Lake Como episode) has been replaced. They did it for Brooke and Ridge's wedding and the Brooke's Bedroom Line episodes. While ideally I would have liked to see the unedited, original episodes, I am enjoying these classic episodes nonetheless. They need to show a week of Sheila though! BTW, when you say "bonus scene", do you mean the parts that were edited in the TV broadcast?
The best opening of the show, thank you for sharing in 1080p

I'd love if they could really stick to their 80s-90s archives and continue to air episodes from that era.
