Let's be honest... you are watching and listening to one of the greatest British vocalists of all time. If you grew up in the 80's in UK, this man was IT. Simply Red, were THE band others emulated. He had/still has everything as a vocalist. He was also a politic of the time and people don't realise, that he mixed protest, love songs, soul and also attitude all at the same time. That's hard. To mention him and Morrissey/Marr in the same breath may seem strange. But they were from the same city and shared the same sentiments. He was simply 'Red' then, and still is... a British Great.
I was misunderstood by my friends bc this was my favorite band when I was just 13 yo; and it has been since. And I was fortunate enough to see them live in Madrid two years ago. Amazed about how his voice keeps perfect through time. Mick forever! 😍😍😍😍

I have the original CD, album Stars of 1991 in perfects conditions. Just right now I am to rip it with Exact Audio Copy v1.6 to Flac v1.4.3. I can´t believe, 32 years and the cd is perfect.
Saw them at Westonbirt a number of years ago, I was amazed how good his voice is. It was apparently their farewell tour but it’s good to see them still going and his voice sounds as good as ever!👍
