Girls in the US should be looking up to Tobin and not Alex Morgan. Tobin is the most technically gifted player in the US squad and plays football the correct way. Not afraid to take players on, head is always up, tracks back and generally plays with intelligence.
Everyone has their own gift on the U.S. team. There's a reason Alex, Tobin and all the women are on that team. So basically we should look up to all of them for adding their own unique talent and style to the best Women's futbol team in the world.

Yep, Tobin started playing for the WNT in 2008, and Alex in 2010, even though she's only a year older than Alex. Tobin didn't play in 2010 because she broke her ankle and was battling illness, but she was able to return for the 2011 WWC. She has a larger role in the mid-field now, which is most likely why they were making those comments. :)
