Dear Kaleb, Quite some time ago I had just started using your lovely piano music.. Using the hymns for my free gospel page on TH-cam. I love piano music and start it out with voice lessons using piano music of course from the teacher. So after finding your lovely music and writing to let you ki was getting twork with your music. I was letting you know that TH-cam was putting ads on the videos even though I had never agreed to that. When I let you know it was just happening you assumed that I was just using music and using the people who wrote the music and perhaps using your music the wrong way. I found out it was not just me recently were you to put ads on videos whether a person monetizes it or not. But you put a claim and have continued somehow putting claims on every song I've done now for over a year Please consider changing it I'm going to leave a link on here so you can look at at least one of my gospel videos online. That way you'll know that I have not been abusing the system or whatever It's disheartening to see that every time I put a new song the claim is unfounded. You are more than welcome to look at any of the songs on TH-cam. That way you would be reassured. I had no idea either that TH-cam Still puts ads on my singing and gospel videven though I have never agreed to that. I promise not to use any of your piano music anymore if you don't want that and I'll be glad to take all of them down if that Is what you prefer. Hi Gary, I don't put any claims on videos, so feel free to use my recordings as accompaniment. But if the video is a cover of a copyrighted song (meaning newer than 1925) then TH-cam will automatically detect it and put a copyright claim on that video on behalf of the company that owns the original song, allowing them to show ads on the video. This can mostly be avoided by only using songs that were written before 1925. Occasionally the copyright detector messes up and claims older songs that are in the public domain, but it doesn't happen too frequently.
