Hi Billy, Great video! I have followed it to the T and have recently launched a campaign today. Crossing my fingers for some good results! Is there a part 2 of this video? How long should I keep the Ad running before deciding to Kill it and start all over again? Should I be creating similar campaigns and run multiples using the 3/2/2 rule?
@@ascentcrea This is totally correct and is the next step. Once you’ve found the winning creative from the first DC campaign, that post ID is then added to a winning campaign. You then introduce a new Ad Set and concept on a DC, using the 3 creatives, 2 headlines and 2 copy, find the winner then that winner gets added to the other winning Ad Set. And then will always have winners fighting each other with also a new DC concept on play. Rinse and repeat 🙌 This was the first part as it’s for people who’ve not setup Ads before 🔥🔥🚀
Great video. I'd love to learn more about the URL Parameters you mention towards the end. And see a video about retargeting people who lick on your video. Thanks.
Great video. I am baby photographer, but this gave me good ideas for video content ads. Now need to figure out how to make vertical videos in FCpro from horizontal videos. Thank you
Hey Armands I’ve actually already made a video about creating vertical content from horizontal if you checked out my other videos 🙌 Let me know if you have any questions
Hey Billy thanks for such an informative video, but I was wondering how to measure/contrast/compare ad performance using this 3x2x2 approach (ie. 12 variations) and identify the winning concept when they all seem to be nested within a single Ad? Do you just judge it by the one that delivers the most leads?
Hi Gino - This is a great question. When you are looking at the Ad performance from Ads Manager, one of the drop-downs allows you to look at the breakdowns. So you are able to break the metrics down by your 3 different creatives, 2 headlines and 2 copy.
@@billyabone Thanks Billy, got it. It's early days but I've noticed that out of £40 spent thus far, Facebook has allocated £30 of it to just one image/copy variant. Is this a function of FB allocating and optimising the budget as it sees fit, is this normal during the 'learning phase' or is it simply because people are genuinely favouring this option above all the others and are engaging with it?
Great video Billy! I am currently trying to upload my media in a 9:16 format (1080x1920) and it's telling me that "The aspect ratio of the media in the ad is not valid." Do you have any idea why it may be saying this?
@billyabone i see that you are not adding any photographers or videographers in the exclusion list. Will the strategy not work with exclusions? The reason why i asked this q is we want the ADS to be seen by our potential clients but not our fellow photogs/videogs. Kindly share your thoughts on this. Also, could you please do a video on running a similar ad with photos only. Thank you.
No not really. I go complete broad. However, targeting couples who are engaged is not an interest. Just some people don’t have their relationship status set on Facebook. You could still test it if you wanted to, just keep away from interest based targeting

thanks so much for the thorough walkthrough --- how much would you say (if anything) has really changed into 2024 with this info ? cheers
Cracking video, packed with info. Cheers
Thanks Mick. Looking forward to seeing your Ads 🙌
is there a FOLLOW UP video assessing how these ads performed ? Many thanks!
Hmmm I might have to dip my toes into ads again! Cheers!
How did your previous Ad campaigns go?
Thanks for your efforts
It's a CBO with only 1 broad adset
CBO should have more than 1 adset and let them compete

Thanks Mike. Can you post a message inside of the Facebook group and tag me and I will send the URL Parameters for you to copy into your Ads
I just copied the text from your video and pasted it into mine. Would that work on my adverts or is it unique for each person? Thanks.
Yes, as long as you typed it correctly it will work fine. It is the same for everyone.

Gino - I've posted a video inside of the Facebook group - Get Seen, Get Booked - UK Wedding Videographers & Photographers

Is it not just giving you a warning that it cannot be displayed on certain placements
Great video, lots of food for thought here. Concerning ads placement, what do you think will work best for a wedding photographer?

I am doing my first Facebook ad and this is very different from all the videos I watched. Can you share the URL parameter code? Thank you
Of course. Are you inside of the Get Seen, Get Booked Facebook group so I can share it with you
Can I get the Code dor URL parameters?
So you don't need to target engaged couples then?
