I usually don't comment on videos, but I absolutely love this series so far and I can't wait for part three! I've read and watched a lot of writing advice, but in my experience, none of the popular authors break it down for beginners quite as well as you do. I am currently starting to write a story and I'm following your words religiously. Thank you so so so much for your efforts, I'm really really grateful for your videos and you definitely deserve more subscribers. Keep going!
As for the music volume, I agree that it would be better a little lower, especially between 14:44 and 16:28 it is quite distracting.
Thank you! I’m really happy these videos are actually helpful. I was initially worried I would come across as if I was trying to turn writing into a formula, but I pushed through because I’ve had growing irritations with how people tend to gatekeep or otherwise impose really strange standards on newer writers in workshops or online.
I’m really happy you’ve started to write a story! It can get… tough and tedious at times, but I urge you to keep to it! Writing is always worth it!
Hey! I would like to add that I am very glad I happenstance to find your channel and that character writing video! I have been ruminating over my stories for a ton of time, and your excellent advice over the established structures and your emphasis for beginner writing is magnificent. I can't wait for part three and I do hope that you continue - and hopefully enjoy - releasing such videos! They do have a knack for teaching this writing stuff really well.

Loved the video, this is great advice! Can I just suggest lowering the volume of the background music a bit? I find it distracting and it sometimes makes it hard to listen to your voice
