Looks like a pretty creek - some of those flintlike stones may be from fill rock dumped in near the bridges, though. After washing and tumbling downstream it's almost impossible to tell. Let's hope for rain soon so we can go on a creek crawl together!
That turtle piece turned out to be the find of the day! I found out the species and it's interesting to say the least! Had weird spikes on it and we were stoked to find a piece w the spikes on it!
I live in Wichita falls and I've been trying to find some places to find some fossils haven't found many around my area. I was wondering what was the closest place you guys have found fossils to Wichita falls?
