    I’m glad you covered this. I went through postpartum with both of my children. I had thoughts of harming my daughter and didn’t know why. I was so relieved at my checkup when my doctor asked if I had thoughts or harming myself or my baby. Relieved because I didn’t have to be the first to mention it. My doctor laughed at my fearful reaction admitting to it. I was even more relieved when she told me there was a name for it. The second time with my son I had thoughts of harming myself. This postpartum was far worse than the first time. I was diagnosed with obsessive compulsive postpartum depression. They prescribed me with hardcore medicines that I was too scared to take. So I prayed as hard as the depression hit and God delivered me from all of it 🙌🏼

      Carlita Washington I feel absolute trust shouldn’t be overemphasized in a relationship, smartness is also very important. There’s a popular saying that “don’t trust too much because that too much might hurt you so much”. A Narcissist shouldn’t be trusted, they’re toxic!. My greatest disappointment was discovering my wife cheating on me through the help of Cyberhackingsage who helped cloned her cellphone and i was able to read all her messages and uncover my wife’s infidelity without having to touch her phone. All i did was share my wife’s number with Cyberhackingsage and i got access to her Facebook, WhatsApp and text messages both deleted and incoming ones with a link on my phone. Thanks to Cyberhackingsage, now i have enough evidence for my divorce. You can contact him ( cyberhackingsage@gmail )Or Text/Call and WhatsApp him on +15713758467. Thank me later.

      @@tamannasvlog2182 I wrote down Bible scriptures on separate pieces of paper and posted them all over my room. So the moment I woke up, I was greeted with a scripture that blocked those depression attacks. Whenever I would leave my room and those thoughts came back, I would go back to my room and just read whatever was on my wall. Read Philippians 4:8 and Psalm 29:11. Also, google Bible scriptures specifically for postpartum depression. The Lord will see you through it!

      @@tamannasvlog2182 I know what you mean! It is a scary and lonely feeling and you feel doomed. I also feel relieved meeting other people like me that can relate to what I went through. I feel even more better when I can share how I got out of it cus I swear I thought this was gonna be the death of me. During this time, I also suffered panic attacks that grew into agoraphobia. So I used to ask God to either completely take it away or to kill me because I was that miserable. Looking back, I’m so glad He didn’t drop everything in the universe and just take this away because I wouldn’t know how to help other people overcome their depression. Just remember to say that this is temporary, you’ve been through this before and this too shall pass and eventually it will ❤️

    This video has brought me tons of relief to know that I am not alone. This is my first pregnancy and I’ve had a lot of unwanted thoughts due to anxiety. I cry about it at times and ask myself why am I thinking these things? I love my baby, I want to protect my baby, so why? When I know I would never ever want that to happen. It’s comforting to know I am not crazy and this is normal and happens to a lot of pregnant women. Taking on an entire new role and caring for a new life, for the rest of your life, would make anyone feel crazy at times. It’s such a huge change I am going to have to adapt to and I’m hoping with the help of my family and faith that I will persevere and be the best mom to my daughter. I only want the best for my baby and myself. I am going to let my doctor know about some of these feelings I have to get further help if needed, I can’t be ashamed or feel like a horrible person anymore.

    So happy to see this spoken about and make me feel like I'm not alone. I have a history of anxiety and depression but haven't had any relapses in a few years, however I'm now 8 weeks pregnant and have been going down hill mentally the last week. I'm lucky that I know how I feel when my anxiety is bad, it's still scary and worrying, but I at least know that I need to seek help. I had an 'aha' moment today realising the root of my anxiety is due to finances concerns and not being ready (can you ever be ready though). I'm now working with my GP and antenatal psychologist to assist with counselling and new medications combos. I'm still feeling anxious but starting to feel in control again. Thanks again for talking about this, I think prenatal anxiety and depression doesn't get talk enough like postpartum depression.

    Hi, I hope someone can give me some advice. My GF is ten weeks pregnant, and she has anxiety. She was struggling to feed herself. She was in the hospital, and I was there to support her all the time. She was discharged yesterday. I came to her home to see if she was ok because I didn't hear from her all day. She got angry cos I turned up at her home cos she said was going to spend a time with her mum I got this message;
    She asked me for a alone time I don't get it why.
    She texted me this:
    Atm I need sometime to myself to do some selfcare so I would like to ask that you respect that i have decided I need to take some space for the next few days. If you would like to message me you can but I will not always reply. This is not me saying I don't still care about you etc this is just what I need for me right now.
    So wow I don't know why this big change?

      I can somewhat understand, I'm currently 28 weeks pregnant and I'm living with my mother for a brief period of time, until I give birth, the thing is pregnancy hormones are so good at messing up brain and thoughts that even us women find it difficult to deal with, she'll have so many thoughts and insecurities even if these problems don't exist, she Will think about them and just be worried,
      So all i can say is it's a pretty difficult time for her mentally, and the best thing you can do is convince her that she's not alone in this journey, and that you are ready to be there for her whenever she needs you... Don't worry, she's just concerned that the way her state of mind is in, she'll end up arguing with you on things that don't even have relevance... So don't worry she isn't angry on you or anything , it's just that her mind is a mess rn. ..
      I can tell that pregnancy hormones are making her feel like that because these damn hormones have made me a difficult person to deal with

      Ben Rizzo call your health insurance & they’ll give you a list of primary care physicians in your area & you’ll have to call the primary to make the appointment.
      If you DONT have health care, apply for social/government health care at your local Department of Human Services (most all govt aid application will be in a govt building like this). This could be a lengthy process but if you are open with your case worker about what you need/when you need then they should be able to help you with “emergency services” such as Food stamps, seeing a doctor and even some re/homing benefits!
      I was undiagnosed with private insurance till 2016 (then got a diagnosis on private INS) & I had to apply for govt aid in 2017 with a diagnosis in order to receive benefits.
      Hope that info helps you find a spot to start your journey! Good luck!
