He would have been an excellent fit there, and it would have been an amazing story.

I think this is an unpopular opinion but maybe the Goku Black arc should have been longer.
Yeah Black should have gotten atleast 2-3 more episodes
And would be better too if his real identity was not zamasu either, but instead his own character in the story, a different goku from another universe that never hit his head or something like that

He would be the biggest threat of u11. He might even be possibly be stronger than jiren because Goku blacks zenkais are so broken and inconsistent.
Also in the anime, when zamasu fused with Goku black, they were close in power next to vegito blue. Imagine this was vegito black. Vegito black would mop the floor with vegito blue because vegito blue was struggling against merged zamasu.
If Goku Black ever makes a return, THIS would be the perfect theme music for him.

I think he has to be in universe 10 team, since is Zamasu, just the body is from the 7th universe
And I think he wouldn't kill anyone, he is smart, he would rather have fun like Frieza did

I know we want a lot of villains to return, but if I got that one wish, bring this beast back. Goku Black has the BEST chance to be what Goku really wanted, a OP training partner.

I absolutely love everything about this Arc, this character, and everything about the villains involved, what lovely characters. I’ve fallen in love with their design, the introduction to Rose, the Potara Fusion they had and their little Sword and Scythe techniques. So cool, love it.

You know, I solemnly believe that the Goku Black Arc was when the quality of DBS really shines through. Yes the Tournament of Destroyers had its moments here and there, but the Black arc was something different. It reminded you how dark Dragon Ball’s themes can be, how deep the messaging can go, and how Goku and Vegeta will indeed face true threats. And this score proves it all. Great job person I’ll likely never meet.

BLACK was such a great villain DBS had it truly felt like dbz is coming back with its terrifying villains and arcs but then they rushed the arc the execution was shit but even tho i didnt like the execution and i still think that they didnt do justice to Black's character i still cant deny that i dont see any other way of putting an end to that arc or putting an end to Black's character
Even though the ending was bad for this arc. Having to do witht he fact that black was the only villain that undefeatable, he was a fucking badass and tbh, I don't mind a realistic ending for once.

Bro, when I first heard about Goku Black (I was still early in the series as this was airing) I had assumed it was legitimately an alternate future Goku who's friends had died and had no guidance- and theoretically this could have worked, with Zamasu even going back to when he was a child.
I just find any sort of "bad" Goku (as in had gone down the wrong path from a more tragic childhood) far more compelling than just "oh it's this god dude's second body lol"
They threw away any real moral dilemma/intrigue the story had for me, only utilizing the alternate "Goku" as a shell holding similar powers.

Here's how to fix the Goku Black arc:
1. Remove Zamasu, make Goku Black his own character with his own backstory. (from a more darker timeline. Ex. where goku didn't hit his head, etc). Make him more muscular, he looks like a twig in the anime.
2. Change Black's voice to more like the menacing ssj4 voice. Who's brilliant idea was it to give him a British accent?
3. Take out the stupid spirit bomb sword that trunks magically creates out of plot necessity. Vegito should have been the one to kill the villain..

I agree with all of this except for the Zamasu part. You’re right Black should totally be his own character, but Zamasu is a really well written character in my opinion and should also get his own arc.
Nah fuck zamazu make it where he gets to this stage right here but instead he's forced to fight in the tournament of power to save his universe only because he will die and then he unlocks divine power and ultra instinct and having the divine energy take over his mind and become a good guy... Although I do prefer Goku Black being a bad guy
