I have the X9 so I was so happy you posted this video. I haven't changed any of the stock tubes yet but will definitely try out these PSVANE tubes. Did you have any issues with removing the back row of tubes since they sit so deep in the amp? What is your opinion on using socket savers in the X9? Thank you for a great review. BTW...it was your past videos that turned me on to Grace Mahya. I love her CDs!!!
No issues at all 300B and 274B tubes are easiest to remove, when putting in Horizon 300B tubes you just have match the pins, if you don't change it often socket savers are not needed, thank you.
@@Tharbamar Yes, but why not realize that at the factory and ajust for front facing lettering, like all the others. I have PSVANE tubes and all the lettering is front facing.
Yes definitely if you’re not planning to play 95db+ loudness, I’m paring and playing with 78.5db speakers with X9 in this video. th-cam.com/video/RmHjr1TMb0o/w-d-xo.html
Can you guys follow-up on the PSvane 300b-at horizon since the last threading. I was gonna ask you also if anyone have compared the older version PSvane 300b hifi comparing it to the new PSvane horizon 300b AT overall and sound? Thank you!
I have PSVANE tubes that came with the R300. It is not stamped PSVANE at all anywhere. I compared both the Horizon 300b AT and stock tubes, no difference to my ears, maybe slightly, but nothing to get all excited about. I might try the Shuggie 300b's and report back here.
Great sharing as usual.
Thanks again!
Very nice! Thanks for sharing.
Much better sound with PSVANE Horizon valves.
Yes I really like better background noise control.

I like to biamp with Tube for HF and Class D or AB for LF. Best of botj worlds 😉👍.
Hi, very nice and informative video. Since you reviewed the X7 too, how would you compare to the X7? Thanks for your feedback.
Hi, X7 is great but X9 magical with good paring, thanks
I prefer the standard tubes don't sound as distorted.
Thanks for sharing.
I find it odd that the word ( Horizon) lettering on the 300b at tubes are not facing front like the others, why is that?
Amplifier socket position made them face that way.

Do you think I can use X9 with 89db sensitive speakers?
