AUTHOR’S NOTE: Hello my name is Nia-Louise and welcome to my original fanfiction audiobook of my story entitled Parenting Paul. This fanfiction has been a work in progress since late 2023, I have poured my heart and soul into this project spending countless hours trying to perfect it. Thanks to my friend Brooke who I met on Instagram I have found a way to make the story, more immersive, personal, entertaining and emotional than ever. I wrote the majority of the story during my own difficult period in life, and I want the story to have as much impact as possible. I hope anyone who listens to this enjoys it and can feel the raw emotion of what I’ve been going through as well as some much appreciated Beatles fandom lore. This story is inspired by Paul’s own depression state that he felt between the years 1968-69….as much of the music from this era has helped me get through my own tough times.
Lastly, dear Sir Paul McCartney I found you during the height of the coronavirus pandemic during the summer of 2020, and since finding you I have gone through many trials and tribulations regarding becoming an adult which has consisted of dealing with mental health issues, but not limited to severe depression and possible autism. I hope if you do somehow come across the story you can see how much I love you and how much I can hear the pain you went through when you wrote the songs shown in your album McCartney (1970) I would like to say, although I used AI to make it sound like if you were reading it I did write every single word typed and I spent countless hours writing, retooling and fixing any errors that I could find so you could feel real thought out atmospheric storytelling. Parenting Paul follows an extremely lonely, distraught and stressed from fame Paul McCartney who finds himself at a mental breakdown crossroads as he tries to deal with sudden abrupt changes happening in his life, as a result he contemplates spending the rest of his life being carefree and nihilistic, until he finds himself having to raise an impressionable young girl named Heather.
