🗓, I added Small Gift to my wishlist! So cute.
I just love when plans constantly evolve! I have Small Gift all kitted up and will be starting it on October 17 which marks the beginning of the 2024 Queen City Stitch Retreat! I, unfortunately, will not be attending the retreat this year, but Highway Stitcher, Colette Kingsley will be attending and starting it as well! 💝
My last starts for 24 starts in 2024 are 13 days of Halloween and 12 days of Christmas and next year’s temperature pattern outlines. I’m committing to 5-25 finishes in 2025. 📅

📆 loved this video but I trying really hard not to have new start till I finnish my Fellowship of Ring piece I'm working on .
I brought some new more kits from GBFKE. When I'm ready for new start should I continue with Lord of rings and start my Rivendell piece or work on a small turtle, or join in the Jolly July and open christmas piece or start one of my Disney female Villains portaits where each has individual gold frame based on her movie. Any suggestions??
I really enjoy your FlossTubes. 2 tiny suggestions, can you slow speech a bit (enunciate a little more)-I miss some of what you say & need to rewind and can you keep the patterns up longer in the videos? Thanks for sharing your stitching journey!

🗓️ Oh my gosh I’m SO there with you on Book of Days!! I KNOW I’m not a planner person, yet I buy the latest planner out there! The first three months of the year I used Lori Sykes’ planner…. Now?? Yeah…. I’ve not kept up with my “24 New Starts in 24” however, I DO have 13 starts thus far this year!! Not too shabby!! It’s awesome getting to see you (even with out Allison, who I’m missing!!) and see you in your next video!

I loooooove Excel spreadsheets for my inventory, too. SALs really get me in trouble, I just can't say no! I've got Away We Ride in stash. Maybe I'll start that one, too. I was holding out for a bit because I heard that the Vicki Clayton silk pack for it is really nice, but I have some flosses I want to use up first. Oh I like that idea of organizing wips based on what percent are done. I'm going to think about that. Winter Quaker looks beautiful, that sneak peak. I like Spring Quaker, that's pretty too. The plans sound good! This will be a fun stitching year!

I remember when I had 10 WIPS and didn't want to start any more. Then I had 20 and decided to cap it there. Now I have 25 and I'm losing my mind. 😊 I'm a project stitcher so the lack of finishes is causing a panic 😅
You should do a video on your cross stitch storage, supplies, etc.! I love watching how everyone organizes & stores their floss
You said something that made me wonder... We (most of us) do WIP parades for our flosstubes, but have any of us done DNF parades? Or what do you do with your DNFs at their various stages? What are yours? Allison's?

I use StitchingNati’s notion template and adore it! I’ve been able to add all my info from 5 different spreadsheets into it and now it’s all in one place which I love
Hmmmm.... I really like that idea of knowing how far along each of my wips is... I use an extremely basic spreadsheet but I may need to add that info to it!

Really enjoy watching your videos! I was also thinking about the book of days but am also a digital fan. I use a diary app called diarium it's easy because it has a template, I can plug a tag and a photo. Then done. Later if I want to see new starts I just click on the tag new starts. Happy stitching and thanks for enabling!! 🗓
I’d love for you to talk about what notion template you use for your stitching. I have a photo gallery in notion of my stitching but track the rest in google sheets and I can’t figure out how to be happy with one or the other!

The percentage system sounds like itd be productive. You should make it more visual than a spreadsheet. Maybe inconjunction with the excel. Like jars with marbles. Move a marble over every time you progress to the next level. I would start the initial level as it's own color that way st the end you got s jar full of colorful marbles that you can quickly tell you where they started. Does that make sense?
I did o Christmas tree on white opalescent fabric. It was so pretty. I used a medium green floss. It was so fun to see all the designs pop out.🗓️.
